Connor Barwin Visiting Today

What? It won’t affect us for next year with all the money we have. Plus we probably won’t even end up using all of our cap Space.

How much cap space do you think we have? All I'm interested in is not having Rosen killed before we can find out what we have in him, not Danny Shelton or Collins unless they want to come in on Prove-It deals.

Still vital positions in need. Most likely need to sign another 1-2 or 3 FA's with cap space we have available for this year...
And if not mistaken, FA's are not free....

Not saying spend a bundle, If not mistaken I think we still have around 15-20 mil cap space just rather see a better player if slightly more money while still staying in our usable cap range.... We are not done spending, just glad we are not wasting on a player 33 and see his effective days in the rear view mirror IMO, such as Barwin

Ideally Sheldon for I see him = quality, need and he's 26...
Collins Perry still enough gas in the tank IMO. Positions of need and the best place to invest the available cap space...
If either want to sign on a prove-it deal then I'd be okay, but the bulk of our remaining cap should be trying to field a competent right side of our OL. Not interested in spending money on the DE with what's left.

Maybe they're just doing their work in case they need somebody down the road. At this point I'd just go with who we have now and see who can develop.

Potentially accurate approach. But truthfully you might want to see what we have as OL quality when the guys are actually in pads and hitting and not just running around in shorts. Instead of making these evaluations on little real opportunities to see how good or bad some of our guys are. Don'l think even the coaches know at this point what we got so our evaluations are just moot, IMO. You or me might be surprised.
And DL a position of actual lack of personal....

I'm most interested in giving Rosen a fair shot to prove himself or not, I want our coaches to be able to fully evaluate him as quickly as possible so we can figure out which direct to move this franchise. I don't want to have an excuse train like we did with Tannehill and be in this exact same position 5 years from now.

Don't want there to be any "but, he was running for his life the whole season" "but, we allowed the most sacks in team history" etc..

Actually agree 100 %, definitely want to be off that tread mill

Been I've been screaming for an OL for years..

But for gods sake WE HAVE NO CLUE WHAT WE HAVE !!!!!!!!!
what ? 2 draft picks a couple FA's and several UDFA this is where the FO shows their level of quality...but time is needed to truthfully judge what we have now.

You know from what ? U-tube 2-3 min video highlights lol ? just seeing them in shorts and running around tires....come on... we have to see what we got

What if Dieter is quality, One is good in Calhoun or Reed or Dunn at RG, Prince or Mills or Dunn at RT are good or better....if not sufficient enough, than that goes on the FO...but christ lets at least see..

I'm actually confident in Deiter, I really liked that pick. I'm hopeful for Calhoun, not so much in Mills or Reed but I would rather have an excess of good OL depth (not possible) because we signed too many (again, not possible) than lack in the OL department but sign someone like Shelton or an aging Collins.

Can’t say I don’t hate this

Can’t say I don’t like this.

I'm trying to figure out if you both meant the exact opposite of what you typed.

" We signed to many ", and just as logical we sign a 26 year old Sheldon as also considered not to many and filling a needed hole now and opening another opportunity for 2020..
But this is just personal approaches and both sides can make logical sense. I'd just get him if the gettins good...

Not like I'm looking for that SB opportunity in the near future. building building

I'm pretty sure that the people were (accurately) pointing that out don't want that again either.
