Nate Orchard Expected To Sign

Rotoworld.com is reporting that he has signed.

  • Nate Orchard LB, Miami Dolphins

    Dolphins signed LB Nate Orchard.
Orchard got the deal after working out at minicamp. He split time between Buffalo and Kansas City last year — playing in just four games. Orchard became expendable after Seattle signed Ziggy Ansah but should have an easier path to snaps in Miami.

Hopefully Angry Orchard plays with a chip on his shoulder

haha Evidently we have 56 players with chips on their shoulders. They have been scorned in other places or they just arent good football players.

I can't imagine Thomas would be cheap. The 49ers have been playing him out of position and I think it's fairly well known across the league. He's still 23 years old.

Anyway, the Seahawks are about as desperate as anybody for edge help so I'm not sure it's a great sign that they gave up on this Orchard guy
They did sign zingy Ansah, who is in rehab for a shoulder I believe.

He’s done a lot more than Charles Harris. So there’s that.

I’m in on Solomon thomas but I’d bet Miami isn’t willing to part with 2020 picks right now.

And I think miami May well ask Christian Wilkins to play a similar role. I have zero doubts Christian Wilkins will line up on the outside shoulder of a tackle at times. Our edge talent is plain old horrid. I will be a scheme believer for life if they get plus return out of that talent level. They sure shouldn’t.

Just keep in mind the last guy to give miami more production pass rush wise edge than talent level was probably ogunleye. And even that once he cashed in had little shelf life.

Like a mirage basically.

Andre Branch doesn’t count cause that was a horrid contract from the moment he put pen to paper

Smoke and mirrors in Miami in 2019. Either jags or washed up vets or 5th round picks who will never beat tackles one on one in space consistently. When’s the last time miami did more with less talent wise? Excuse me if I’m skeptical

Charles harris wild card?
