Rosen Issues

What are they?

What were they coming out of college?

The only (2) I can think of are attitude and concussions.

Did he have a few concussions in college? Any type of injury history?

I don’t think he has an issue with attitude at all. Everything so far has been perfect.

-High number of balls batted at the line of scrimmage
-sometimes locks in on one receiver
-doesn’t always go through all of his progressions
-Doesn’t seem to want to run at all, even though there are probably times when he should
-He’s a gunslinger. This is both good and bad. His arm is pretty elite, so he sometimes forces it in there when he probably shouldn’t. However, this is also one of his strengths if that makes sense.

There are a lot of things he needs to work on, but he has displayed enough talent that when he does succeed and put it all together he looks like he could be an elite QB. It’s that after he does that, he may also make a play that makes you smack the palm of your hand to your forehead.

Was a little loose with the football, had 14 INTs and 10 fumbles in 14 games

This is a great post, and it actually makes me worry more about Josh Rosen as our QB now.

Not so much the physical part (although I am worried more now - thanks lol)

But, does Josh Rosen even CARE about winning a Super Bowl? I think that’s a fair question. And one I’d like to see him answer live on the spot.

This kid is like Ricky Schroeder from Silver Spoons only not as lovable.

We need a QB hungry for The Ring. We haven’t had one that even cared since Dan Marino, IMO.

Does Josh Rosen want to win the Super Bowl? And if he does, how bad does he want it?

Those are real honest questions I’d like answers to.

Just because he has outside interests which do not agree with your views you question his desire to win a Super Bowl? :bobdole:

The decision making in the pros as a rookie was worse than the decision making in college. Especially when he had taken a lot of contact. The more he got hit the more his decision making fell off.

It’s basically the exact opposite of tannehills rookie year

He's Pat White with a rocket arm?

No. It’s hard repeated contact gets in his head. The “just get it out of my hand” without clarity stuff is my biggest uh oh which imo comes completely from contact.

I do agree that tipped passes which is arm level and lack of eye discipline can impact things but I think that his eye manipulation will come with experience in an o and not something to red flag at this stage.

Arm level I think at times needs to be more over the top. Coachable. And maybe more just needs to maintain consistency snap to snap.
