Other players are almost always complimentary of other players. Their opinions should be taken with a grain of salt. Rosen didn't really show many signs of being a dominate player as a rookie. We'll just have to wait and see. I just hope that if the Dolphin's are in position to select a franchise altering QB in next season's draft, they are smart enough to pounce at that opportunity.

I would agree unless Rosen demonstrates that we have one on the roster already. Then we can go to town filling other needs. As a fins fan, I'd think most would agree that scenario is preferable.

And yeah, you're right that teammates often prop up past teammates but no where as effusively as has Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald. As others pointed out, they could have been complimentary without going overboard as both did.

And while there's ample reason to take their assessments with "a grain of salt," considering that we've had no impact players on roster approaching either of them, that they were on the receiving end of Rosen's throws and handoffs behind the same miserable OL, and as a plus, Mike Mayock called him the best pure pocket passer he's seen in a number of years, there's also ample reason to take them seriously.

No... but if you read the whole article he was more flattering of Rosen than even Murray.

The point is...he didn’t have to go that far (dominant)...he could have said something far less and still been complimentary.

The very reason he was more complementary to Rosen - Rosen was ill-treated

Point is one qb got the shaft the other one didn’t -Blue I kno you want them to find the one so do I

Absolutely...I just want Rosen to get a fair chance... I feel Arizona was an abortion last year... still...when they were the healthiest, in his first pro start... he played well enough to beat Seattle, and probably would have if the coaches had not leashed him late in the game.

Ok but, tell that to Peyton Manning's rookie stat line.lol AnnnnnnnD, I'll still take their word over some kid on the internet. Idk but, somehow their word holds more weight. I'm sure you will agree.

But they don't tell the whole story and shouldn't ever be the sole reason to base an opinion.

Everyone has an opinion no one holds the truth my friend

I wil be prepared to eat crow on the word dominant but I don’t think that is going to be necessary

I find the posters have a hard time reading between the lines of a complement to encourage and a full out endorsement lol

there are also hundreds of QBs that sucked their rookie year and always sucked
