David Johnson: “rosen Will Be Dominant”

2 of the classiest NFL players pay a complement to a young man who needed the encouragement after getting the obvious snub - and you are in a roar great...

Don’t believe me believe the stat line - wins and losses and stat lines do not lie
Elway, Aikman, PManning, Archie Manning, Steve Young all say "yeah sure!"

I long for the days where we argue who is playing better between two guys in no pads, during install, in.....May. Going back and forth about whether or not "praise" from a player you don't know, never met, and know nothing about other than his football career is beyond off-season ridiculous...

Any qb that come to dolphins will be under heavy pressure because they screw up QB position w thill17. What do we as fan expect from rosen. 4 out of 5 qb that was draft last yr are struggling too. The only difference is other team are willing work w there qb. To see what they got.rosen might be good qb. If they work w him. Do thing he does best instead of trying make him be brady. They need fix offense that suit rosen. There never go be brady, joe or marino.

Peyton was terrible as a rookie what did he have 28 interceptions? I think that's his point

He threw 26 touchdowns and broke the NFL record for Rookie QB Yards Completions and Touchdowns, I think that was Phinatic's point....why do people always have to make these wild comparisons? Constantly throwing out the same exception vs the rule examples.

If Rosen had a rookie year anywhere in Manning's stratosphere we wouldn't have gotten him for the 62nd pick. So, be happy he didn't....and understand that this isn't some slam-dunk, sure thing with Rosen. It's a good bet.

He was far from terrible as a rookie, he just so happened to throw a helluva lot a picks.

He set a lot of Rookie records and by year 2 cemented himself as a top qb.

That was my exact point. Theres always exceptions then theres the norm. I'm will to bet Rosen will just be the norm.

Rosen was never the prospect Manning was coming out of college. So please stop with the comparisons.

I loathe the mentality of this other guy did this so it’s a similar situation.

That's been the Dolphins' fan norm since Henne.

Henne was clearly a 2nd round next tier QB prospect... Rosen was clearly a top ten prospect many experts thought was QB1 in that draft.

Expecting a rookie QB to explode is foolish on a good team... on the the NFL’s worst team that’s O-line gets devasted... it is idiotic.

Manning was a great QB...but even in his 3rd season he couldn’t raise his team above a pretender like Miami was in 2000 in the playoffs.

His numbers were very good but not stunning until the rules changes of 2007.

He lead the NFL in touchdowns and yards his 3rd year in the NFL and had a 7.7 ypa as well as 7.7 aya.

Not to mention 49 touchdowns and 9 ypa in 2004.

Manning was great from day one, stop trying to compare Rosen to a top 5 qb of all time.
