Dolphins placed LB Mike Hull on the reserve/PUP list.
It's horrific news for Hull, as he'll now be forced to miss all of 2019. Hull additionally missed the first eight weeks of the 2018 season with a sprained MCL, and has made just five starts for Miami since initially signing with the team in '15. Inked to a one-year contract in March, it's likely Hull's played his last snap with the Fins.

hope he can find some good health in his future but is assume he is done here in Miami after this
 
I thought players on PUP had to be inactive until week 6 before the team had another month or so to decide if they get activated or put on IR?

From what I understand there’s the active pup designation, and the reserve pup designation. If you’re on the active one you can come back whenever. If you’re put on reserve pup list before final cuts are made your season is over. And I’m thinking since he’s a free agent next year anyway he might as well be as good as cut this year.

Agree. He stinks as a LB. Fill in the blanks with another stiff who will run down and hit someone on ST and you’re ok. Never was a fan. Reminded me of all the horrifically slow LBs we had during the Marino years.

Opens the door for another ST guy. Maybe Hanks or Watson can prove they are worth a spot on the 53
