Rosen’s Slow Start

I've received what seemed like a thousand screenshots via text from my buddies, of Hoops and his ilk defending Tannehill at every turn on here and we've all had a laugh about it. I saw the piling on whenever someone dared to suggest Tannehill sucked which seemed obvious to anyone except a very vocal majority on Dolphins forums and rather than be banned for having wrong think I just lurked. Now that he's gone we can get back to reality. I see people are still touchy about him, not surprisingly. Anyone who couldn't see Tannehill wasn't a franchise QB from day 1 and who defended him to the death even years later, sorry, but they'd be the last person I'd turn to for opinions on QBs.

As far as Fromm, he's the best QB prospect of the bunch and this will be proven out given time. I think Rosen has a chance to be special too but as much of a fan I am of his, Fromm is the superior QB. Hebert doesn't have arm and Tua doesn't have the build or brains. Rosen is a better pro prospect than either of them.

If you want to dwell on the past , pound your chest and say I told you so go ahead but do not call out a specific poster again or it will be deleted

We don't do that here. Your friends should have told you that

Consider this a warning

Don't respond. if you have any questions or objections send me a pm

If Rosen can't beat out Fitz in camp competition then he ain't the one.

Herbert doesn’t have arm he says.

would have bottom 1/5 arm in the league. Your video literally proves it so thanks for posting

that said, he's still a much better prospect than Tannehill was...that's obvious

I’d gladly welcome these takes in the draft forum. I think they’re pretty good and would generate some discussion there.

I enjoy talking about Fromm’s tiny hands, propensity to fumble, his penchant for drifting straight back against pressure, and letting Bama’s backup quarterback beat him 2 games in a row playing with a lead.

I also enjoy hearing about his many positive attributes.

What I do like about Herbert is for a guy who is pretty damn tall, his throwing motion is pretty compact.

He has potentially Josh Allen athlete but with better arm talent. I watched a most of his games of his abbreviated season (I've known Taggart since High School so I watched Oregon) and they were a different team when he played.

He didn't let Bama back up QB beat him UGA D let them off the hook especially in the Natty damn 2-26 and Sanders gets caught peeking in the backfield and blowing his assignment.

OK folks. So this will be the last warning for this thread.

STAY ON TOPIC!

If you can't stay on topic you will at least be locked out of the thread or at worse locked out and given a warning or infraction.

Chris Simms said this AM that Rosen's accuracy, spiral, strong arm are a few time zones beyond Fitz's who in a collection of worst ever interceptions, would get cited a few times.

Says the light's already coming on for Rosen and it's just a matter of time before he starts.
I don't think Rosen's physical/technical skills are in question, just whether he can get his head around the new offense without making too many errors.

This is a guy who's had, what, 6 OCs in the last 5 years? There's probably some very basic tendencies (either technical or mental) that he's had to cling onto in order to give him some sort of consistent base or grounding to deal with the continual transitions between schemes, and if those are causing issues he's going to have a hard time dropping what he's had to rely on to get by all this time.

That kids got a rediculous arm. He can throw with paste and accuracy on the move or full gallop too.

He’s got zone read and pistol fresh out the box written all over him. I don’t know if Miami will be interested in that style qb though.

Regardless he’s a rediculous 6 foot 6 listed atblete with top shelf physical tools and he looks to have that gift of improv when things break down or don’t go to script.

We don’t know how this rosen thing is gonna turn out and lord knows I’m rooting for him but that kids about as physically gifted as they come. We all know there’s more to playing the position than that however.

Wata yah get when you cross Tannehill with draft prospects? Not a Rosen thread.

I’ll be here all week. Tip your waitress.

If Rosen doesn’t start, it’s back to good ol’ fashion Miami Dolphins purgatory. We will be in no mans land with a futureless journeyman who has the ability to win enough games to warrant him keeping the starting job late into the season.

Imagine only seeing Rosen for 3 or 4 games or worst case scenario, not at all. What then?

Why oh why did we have to go with the alpha competitive sports male grab crotch, spit and may the best man start mentality?

You signed a veteran, BACK-UP Qb. Let him be a veteran, back-up Qb.

You traded for a 1st round, blue chip prospect for the future. Give him every opportunity to show he’s the future.
