Undrafted Rookie Wr Preston Williams Makes Explosive Preseason Debut For Dolphins

There was no easy catches for Williams. Every catch was a very good one or a great one. The guy is for real but it takes a whole team. You need the O-line to protect and the QB to get him the ball but he's got a lot of talent.

Watching his plays again from last night, how did he go un-drafted? I don't get it.

I thought he was tall and lanky before I saw him in action last night. The kid is like 6’3 220 or something

Domestic violence arrest + another arrest for harassing his ex afterward + no invite to the combine. Still, you’d think someone would take a flyer on him.

I’ve been cautiously optimistic on this guy based on camp reports. Wanted to see if he’d fall off the radar after pads came on. Nope, he absolutely balled out last night. I’m on the hype train now. He has a higher ceiling than DVP. That’s a fact.

Yikes that's some serious stuff there. OK it all makes sense now. It makes it a good risk because he was undrafted though. I hope he gets his stuff in order so he can be a productive human let alone football player. But he sure looks to be more of the real deal than the training camp king after last night.

Can't wait to see how he does against #1 NFL CB's in game like conditions.

The CBS broadcast team said he was 6'5". But Jason Taylor said when he played they listed him as 260 something most of his career, but said he was never over 244 pounds. So who knows.

He was impressive no doubt.

If Parker can't stay healthy, he is making their decision easy.

I'd trade Devante in a heartbeat.

Stills is a different type of WR, & he's productive...

but he IS a child in need of a new home.

Im all for 2nd chances and he was never charged in thee domestic violence case. So hopefully he changes his life around

I would never condone domestic violence but, from what I've read, it wasn't as bad as it might appear. In other words, he didn't "hit" the girl. I'm not saying it was OK by any means, just that its not like he beat the crap out of his (then) GF.

He also jumped around to different schools, sat out a year, didn't do well at his pro day, etc. There were a few reasons he went undrafted.

I think there was also a failed drug test in there but that may have been a rumor

I think that we've got really lucky to get Preston Williams just land in our laps. He looks terrific. We also got lucky to get the opportunity to land Josh Rosen for just $6M over 3 years, because of Kyler Murray's availability to Arizona in the Draft. Time will tell, but we seem to be having some luck for a change.

I would be good with trading Stills at this point. He has become a distraction, and we don't need that on the team.

I agree. This isn’t political mods, but if you look at the Patriots you just don’t see any of this drama, it’s all about team. They strictly forbid it. Yes it’s drama, not leadership or bravery, just drama that this team doesn’t need. This organization has had enough drama to last a lifetime. I say trade him too.

I assume the authorities officially dropped the charges? If so that makes me feel better.
