The Miami Dolphins emerged victorious on Thursday night against the Atlanta Falcons, enduring a frustrating performance by the team’s offensive line to score 34 points. There were ups, there were downs — and there are still many questions yet to be answered.

But if the preseason is going to serve as the Dolphins’ answers to their 2019 starting lineup, there are plenty of takeaways to be had and plenty of re-adjusting ahead for the team as they prep for their season opener next month.

Here are 10 winners from Thursday night’s victory over the Falcons.

The biggest winner is not on the list. Coach Flores. Finally as fans will see the difference a real coach can bring to the team. There were mistakes but penalties and prep are light years ahead of anything we've had in 20 years. What we showed after the 1st string was impressive and shows true coaching. I understand we have a long way to go but for the first time in two decades I truly believe in the new path.

Yes the O-line stunk particularly Mills, but we moved the ball and scored points. Put Tunsil in the lineup and give our rookie gaurds 3-4 more games, keep Mills off the team and we should be decent barring injuries. We have other blockers that were not used including Allen and Symthe which will help.

We're desperately trying to get experience for our swing tackles which is a really bad sign, but our offensive line as a starting unit should be okay. There simply HAS to be emphasis next year on an offensive line. IF we see signs of a player in Rosen, holy god would it be nice to use all the picks we'd use (likely 1st + 3rd, 4th.. or some variation) all on offensive line just to act actual talent?

Last night was a victory to me watching Jesse Davis seal off blocks and stand his ground against several good pushes by whoever Atlantas LE is.

The only winner from last night was the shred of hope that I keep ahold of after years of middle dwelling. That hope got a win by the name of Preston Williams. Thanks PW for messing with that part of my brain that always holds out hope that we're going to "shock the world"

Rosen showed promise too...so there's that.

I sure hope you're right. I like his demeanor. We deserve it. Been a long time suffering. Failing forward fast. Lobster traps. Lying about not going to Alabama. Kicking our best talent off the team cause coach gets mad. We deserve a era of success with a young and talented HC.

Fitzpatrick’s ability to escape from pressure was a positive. X showed he’s ready to earn his new contract. Orchard displayed quickness getting to the QB. Hendrix did well getting to the QB as well.

Clearly Preston was the player who shined the brightest.

Not sure I trust an articl;e that talks about one of our linebackers doing well but displays them in their college uniform lol

Can't wait for the next game now. We had some players that did well last night but you're looking for consistency and I still want to see the guard do better than they did last night along with the rest of the O-line.

I really enjoyed seeing Irwin get some good touches.

I really enjoyed seeing Irwin get some good touches.

His catch and IMMEDIATE upfield in Q4 (I think) looked so MUCH LIKE A PRO!

We have a log jam at receiver and ... don't like saying it but

the dudes coming off injury are very much in ??? IMO.

Tho I'm (fairly) sure Irwin is the type of kid we can stash on PS.

>>> really LIKE the dominance of BIG (6ft +) dudes we have <<<
