Here's Every Snap Of Rosen's Phin Debut

If Rosen plays as well in the next couple of preseason games he should be the starter. No reason to throw Fitz out there at all

The only thing I didn't care for was trying to extend plays while being sacked. That being said, it seems some of the things learned in Arizona behind horrific line play showed up. Whether it was timing of holding on to the ball a split second too long. Definitely fight or flight but there was a lot to build on.

After looking at this video, I will 1st get the bad off 1st...

-That was an ugly INT, no way around it.

-He's got to be better in the redzone, tired of reaching the RZ, and not being able to connect for a TD through the air.

-He seems to want to make plays, even when in the grasp going down...That can be very dangerous.

Now the Good...

-Other then that INT, he really did not make any bad decisions.

-He showed good accuracy, and able to throw open a few receivers.

-Some of those throws were plain and simply beautiful to watch.

-As I said, he seems to want to make plays when in the grasp, and that could come back to haunt him eventually, but I will say, that shows a never say die fire in his heart, and two, he did complete them, so he is a play maker while things are falling apart around him...Kind of impressive.

I have only seen the video once, so I may have missed something, or off, but I like what I saw from him, and only expect him to be even more impressive as he gets more comfortable.

I saw more flashes from Rosen in this game than I saw from Tannehill all those years. Rosen has nice footwork in the pocket and the ability to create more time or escape from pressure. He had excellent ball placement and spin on his passes. He did look like Tannehill on the INT where you could tell, like most of Tannehill's passes, that he had predetermined where to go with the ball pre-snap. That was really ugly. But, he gets a pass, for now, because of the new system, teammates, and it being the first preseason game. I love QBs that know when to trust their guys and several times he made throws showing confidence that his guy would win the battle and make the catch. I'd rather have that than someone who throws it away. Obviously you don't want to see them throw it up for grabs if there isn't a distinct advantage, but when your receiver is 6'5" and can go up and get it, if he's going against a small cornerback with poor instincts, than it's a smart play. You can't teach moxie or playmaking. You either have it or you don't. We haven't had it since Marino so it's refreshing to see. I've already seen enough to know I'd rather go with Rosen over Fitz. I'm not quite ready to declare Rosen is the answer to the QB position for the next decade but that's why it's important to play him with the first team in real games so they can find this out. Should he prove he's capable of being a franchise QB, the team is still awful and will likely have a top 5 pick. Imagine the package they could get for that high pick by some team looking to trade up for a QB? Rosen will have to prove he's better than all of the top prospects and worth passing on them though. I think if all these prospects raise their games it'd be tough to pass on the chance to grab one of them unless Rosen blows us away. But he's capable

Really liked the sideline throw to butler the back shoulder to williams the seam throw to Walford and the Williams perfectly placed go get it ball to the 2 yard line.

4 excellent throws back shoulder probably the least difficult cause the sideline to butler was after creating time and space with subtle foot work and basically a flat footed dime. 17 yard strike

Timing routes I thought rosen did well it was tbe post snap coverage reads where I thought he was a little hesitant.

Trust your eyes and rip it

There’s no doubt he trust Preston Williams to make a play for him. He gets the right coverage pre snap he goes there

I don’t consider that late he looked right he came back left he was just going there off his pre snap zone read tbe entire time.

I got an easy 5 yards or whatever.

Spot on. He looked extremely good on those timing routes. I am assuming a lot of the offense will be this. Also like you said, you can tell he doesn't trust himself 100% yet. Which is normal id say. Young QB in a new offense. Some players progress from that, some do not however.

Yeah you have to think that it will come with more time. Which is why I’d want to get him run with the 1s now and the first team o line.

Def not worth his draft pick but certainly worth what we paid for him. This o-line though...oh my...

I didn't get to watch the game, was going to after work today. Up until about 20 minutes ago I thought Ryan Fitzpatrick was going to start week 1. Scratch that.

THANK YOU ARIZONA. THANK YOU GOD.

I have this kid for 3 years and $5 Million? LOL

Zero wasted movements, pin point accuracy and the ability to dictate the chaos around him. Ryan Tannehill would get enveloped by chaos, Rosen just adjusts to it. His natural ability to switch from zip to touch is really impressive.

I love my boy RT as much as any Fin fan did, this 22 year old is light years ahead of 17.

His right shoulder, legs and brain are in perfect sync with each other.

Guys/gals, this is not an average QB.

I am not gonna go full homer right now but I REALLY REALLY WANT TO.
