Bucs/fins Scrimmage Updates

I'd sit him until there's an offensive line in front of him capable of playing NFL football.

It's not productive to trade for him and stick behind the same or worse situation he was in last year. All you do is risk ruining the long shot you were taking in the first place. They don't need to see him get killed in games to evaluate him. You do that everyday by meeting with him and observing his reps closely.

They secured the tank through the offensive and defensive lines. If you're going to lose the battle at the LOS, you're going to lose games. The rest doesn't matter.

Or completely kill his trade value because if we get the first pick in the draft and take a QB. I'm sending all available assets towards that oline. Trade Rosen for what you can get. Backup QB/ QB competition be damned at that point. Rosen isn't starting over the first overall pick.

Like I said I wouldn't send him out there behind this bunch. You're not even paying him backup money. Don't ruin what might pay off for you down the road.

Be patient.

These coaches have nothing to work with along the offensive line. There's just nothing there.

If you send Rosen out there behind these guys you're going to ruin what's left if they don't improve drastically. It happens all the time.

It's difficult to be patient because we need to know if we need to draft a top QB Prospect next year. It would be difficult to fully evaluate Rosen with a small sample size. If there is any doubt about Rosen we should still draft a QB in the first round next year and let them compete. Worst case scenario we will have a Drew Brees/Philip Rivers situation which wouldn't be a bad thing. We can't afford to continue to pass on QB prospects especially with what looks like a strong QB class in 2020.

It's not ideal for Rosen but that's where were at unfortunately.

Well, I wanted to wait till I read everything first. That O-line seems as bad as ever once again. How do you really evaluate your QB's with an O-line that bad. I have to say this......several posters here said it was a mistake to draft Wilkins at 13 and to trade for Rosen because the O-line was so bad it wouldn't matter to have Wilkins or Rosen. I'm starting to wonder if they were right. For years we've seen that the O-line has held this team back and here we are again and the same thing seems to be happening. Maybe they'll get better but I'm not holding my breath at this point.

Rosen needs to start hes obviously trending up everyday and Fitz has been trending down slightly.

Rosen & Preston seem to have a excellent rapport.

Not true. IF Rosen can make this team fight for a playoff spot hes the answer and you build a actual oline around him and get pass rushers on defense.

Ummm...you have seen the talent on this team?

While I don't think Rosen is as bad as he was in Arizona, I think there are three guys with more talent in this next draft...I also doubt we will win more than 4 games so we should be in a position to draft one of them.

I'm almost 100% sure we will be drafting a QB in round one in 2020.

Rosen should be just fine, let's pick up some serviceable linemen and run with a two back, double i, far, trips, double tight ends etc.. Protect the kid at all costs. Then we have stills and Preston who can stretch the hell out of the field. Ballage and Cox are big boys who can block too. Rosen should be fine if these guys can coach right, I think that is more of the question mark.

I wonder how long it will take to see Nkemdiche get into form and hear his name in these tweets. We need more pressure on the line. I like the sound of Wilkins, Godchaeux, and Nkemdiche as the front three.

Sounds like we should be running more 2 TE sets with how bad the line sounds.

Rosen starting to pick up some steam is promising

Please let the Drake injury be nothing

Well thank goodness we’re probably going to be running some I Form with a fullback this year. We’re going to need as many people blocking as humanly possible.

Some of you give Rosen zero chance of being the franchise huh. While I don't think he's the answer I do give him a 20-25% chance of keeping us from looking QB
