We Suck 1 Year Too Early

Tua is crazy accurate and pushes the ball downfield with great anticipation, arm strength looks average tho, that limits his ceiling in my opinion.

Im more worried about his post snap verification than anything. But it’s minor stuff. Like to see him in a post snap read ask at least more pro style one

"Terrible for Trevor" or "Lousy for Lawrence" threads starting early.

Yea I think that's more of a ask type of thing than an ability, but at the same time I wish Alabama did more of that to prepare him for the NFL.

Looks heavy rpo with little run cause he’s such a damn good passer accuracy and placement wise.

But I think he’s got the run part in him similar to Steve young

First year starter who played maybe the best football any college freshman ever has.

Well at least that I’ve seen. Not to mention despite that body bama dline players couldn’t even get him to ground. Of course that doesn’t matter much but he’s obviously got wiry strength.

That red zone throw also for the td in tbe champ game was ungodly. Over one level and between another

Agreed best true Freshman at QB, I've ever seen , you don't see many QB's with than kind of arm strength play with great anticipation (he doesn't move of his 1st read too early)

Steve Young is a great comp, other than him leftys haven't done well in the NFL, I wonder how his mechanics will translate.

Arm strength looks decent enough for the NFL. It may not be a rocket like Josh Allen, but it’s strong enough.

Ken Stabler was successful along with Mark Brunell, no one would call their mechanics textbook tho.
I thought Stabler's were okay if I factor in he always played hungover or perhaps still buzzed :)

Boomer is the only other effective lefty I can think of.

I think with the change at Bama’s OC spot with Steve Sarkisian running it, Tua will benefit from it.

Near sideline he looks fine but hash to far sideline he looks average to below average.
