If the Dolphins wanted Rosen to succeed they would of put a better offensive line in front of him. He is not nimble or quick and he still some what slow to read a defense, he needs a better o-line than some of the more mobile QB's - it's either bad scouting or bad planning by the front office.
Going to be sack city come regular season and he is going to get pummeled this year and look bad in the process. Tannehill had a better o-line his 1st year. Bye the time Brady had his bad offensive lines he already was a fast reader of a defense and they has quick receivers on short patterns, Miami has better receivers there just not quick.
He does have a good arm and is accurate and developed a nice connection with Preston Williams. By the end of the year the Dolphins won't know what they have in Rosen because they didn't give him the tools to be successful. Right now if the front office was smart they would move Kenny Stills but they won't because of the optics of the situation. Move Preston Williams into the starting line up, pick up a 3rd round pick and save 9.5 mil to move to 2020.
Don't understand why we spent our 2nd round pick on him if this is there plan, makes no sense to me, we should of put a better o-line in front of him or went in a different direction with our 2nd round pick the center McCoy and started to build the o-line for a new QB in 2020 or one of the safeties Thornhill or Adderley and started to fix the back end of the defense.
Grier shooting from the hip, Rosen price may have been to high at the start of FA and by the time it became reasonable all the o-line talent was gone, Dolphins could of still spent there 1st on a offensive line talent if they knew Rosen was coming.
