We Suck 1 Year Too Early

Some ppl compare him to Drew Brees as far as placement and accuracy goes and I don't disagree.( he's almost guaranteed the no 1 pick)

On a side note Rosen's timing and accuracy looked better than what I saw in Arizona, small sample size tho.
I've heard the comparison is Steve Young a lot.

Don’t shoot the messenger, I read it on ESPN some where.

Not shooting you at all my friend.

I'm just saying he's not gonna have many designed qb runs. Reading between the lines with what Dabo says and what may happen is they want him to run when it's there instead of waiting for a bomb to develop.

They have Etn to run, and they are going to use that freak a lot.

Etienne is a good RB, they don’t need Lawrence to run and take unneccessary hits, unless he needs to bail the pocket.

He's not Watson. Watson asked to run the ball. He wanted to play that way even though he was deadly in the pocket. Lawrence doesn't have that same want. He just wants to win.

Dude we’ve sucked for damn near twenty years, and we will most likely still suck next year too. Don’t act like us sucking is some kind of one year fluke.

Since there are a great many posters here who are certain that Tua, Lawrence, Fromm, etc. are going to be sure-fire, bins-fide hits, any of whom can lead us to the promised land, any there any sure-fire, bona-fide winning lottery numbers you'd care to share with us? I mean, people are saying this with a unshakeable certainty that's truly admirable, so I figure they have future sight and are willing to share their noblesse oblige.

Who knows if any of them will be sure fire hall of fame QB's. I would much rather draft a top prospect and give my team a chance than to not draft one because "who knows if he will be any good or not".

Without a QB your team doesn't even have a chance.

I'm all in on Tua and Lawrence. Both are special and as close to sure things as it gets. Only injuries and a dysfunctional team lacking talent will keep them from being elite QBs in the NFL.

I would prefer Tua only because I am assuming he comes out year earlier. His accuracy short, middle and deep is as good as I've seen in college, actually better.

I've read he has lost 15 pounds this off season as he is taking nutrition and exercise seriously. I came across another read that said he lost 20 lbs fat and gained 15 lbs of muscle.

Whichever is true I look forward to watching him throwing the ball all over the field on a dime once again this year.

Wanting Tua because he gives the highest chance of success at the quarterback position is guaranteeing that he's going to be sure fire now? Didn't know this was a completely binary discussion.

This is the exact same boat I am in. I would take either one in a heart beat. I think Lawrence is probably the best I have ever seen but I want Tua next year. People mention his accuracy but the thing that really catches my eye is his movement in the pocket. Its almost too good to the point he holds the ball too long trying to take the deep shot. I like his mentality too (main reason I don't like Rosen. I don't see much competitive spirit in him. Like he couldnt give less of a ****).
