Preston Williams Addresses ‘challenging’ Preseason Game

I’m not worried about the couple drops, he displayed hi level talent again on the catch for 6, also the one clear drop Rosen doubled pumped before release, timing might of messed with him.
 
Kid fell back to Earth last night a little but still kept showing positive mojo even when
not living up to his emerging stardom. Ya get the impression he may have been a tad
uptight running with the ones and probably trying too much and losing a bit of focus
in the process.

You are basing this off the first two preseason games? Including one where he dominated, made ridiculous circus catches and was impressive to everyone in the world...except you apparently. GOT YA
 
Even with the drops, he got open last night which means he's winning and beating the DB just about every time. If we see drops in the next couple of games then I'll start to worry but a guy that big and he still gets separation most of the time. We had at least 3 other receivers with drops last night. Maybe a wet football? Maybe not but again, that was just one game. Can't wait for next Friday now.
 
I thought that was a TD but Preston just barely got his toe out of bounds
 
No concerns about PW and his drops last night based on his response afterwards... acknowledged having a bad night, it happens, he'll correct it by getting back to work.

I remember a WR named Jerry Rice had a problem with the drops his rookie year. And I'm not saying PW is the next Jerry Rice.

I'm not a fan of PW being the punt returner. Seems to like to run south to try and get to the outside and would prefer him not take the extra punishment.
 
Kid is still a rookie trying to learn his way and then add in something new having to return punts and think about that. Throw in a wet and windy environment and I can give him a pass in this one.
 
He’s more physical at the top of the route than separation.

Still not seeing much separation or burst.

As a punt returner I don’t like it at all

I hope I'm wrong....but I'm not. You and a bunch of others will be looking like fools in a few weeks. Sorry.
