Lb Sam Eguavoen Says It Was Time To ‘unleash The Beast’

I like him better than Mcmillan, Sam looks faster than his 4.7, 4.8 combine showing but that 39 inch vertical does show on tape, there's mad pop when he tackles our thumps.

Kinda side stepped blocks instead of taking them on but was effective with it.

Definitely has pop. So much zone ask in that game hard to say what his carry coverage is but I’d like to see him open up to full gallop. If the plays in front of him looks solid. I want to see tbat range

Didn’t do a thing in the opener but he showed up in this one. Can see why he’s in the plans.

Eric Rowe thoughts, Gesicki extra size gain thoughts ?

Rowe was solid in run support and had a nice open field tackle. Seemed to bail a lot in carry coverage kinda hard to make a read on there. He’s long and I like that not sure how twitchy and how much redirect quickness he has.

Gesickis feet are more under him. Looks more like he belongs in pads this year. There’s scheme based production to be had there. Last year the hook route he ran his legs would have been all over the place out way over his pad level this year it seems he’s more in control.

It’s an obvious improvement. He’s obviously worked hard

When Zach ruled, I remember reading an article about “false steps”. You play faster if you know where you are going

he saw we had an opening for "NFL Stud" on our roster and decided to give it a go

This kid has a place in the NFL...looks better then what has been trotted out there the last couple of years. He comes down and he comes down hard and is a clean tackler...almost text book. Easy to see why the team likes him and why he is getting the nod over McMillian. I would not expect greatness, but he should be a solid player overall.
