Ryan Allen (pats) has been cut, surely he is better than Haack who when he is on is above average, but when he is off, he's awful and he has way too many shanks.

And E.J. Gaines (bills) has been released on an injury settlement. Maybe worth a look as a depth CB, though he probably doesn't fit the profile being 5-10 and 190lbs, but at he has been around the block.

Why would you want other team's trash? So basically if Kiko Alonso gets cut, he is our version of team's trash???

Ryan Allen is an interesting option with the Flores connection!!!

Gaines was placed on ir before the bills cut him. So i dont know why you are asking about him since he will not do anything gold

You see hundreds of players who have been cut by one team and have gone on to have productive seasons and careers with another team. I think a GM wouldn't be doing his job if he went in the process thinking I'm not going to waste my time looking at players who have been cut or released by another team.

Nevermind... after reading your post a few times I believe you're not saying that teams shouldn't look at recycling players, just that "trash" doesn't apply to all players who are cut.

If the 49ers cut Jordan Thompson #76 we need to pick him up. Dude was straight MAULING Denver's interior line. Really impressive game from him after being cut by Indianapolis.

If CB Sam Beal is somehow released from the New York Giants, he'd be someone I'd hope Miami takes a look at. Drafted in the 2018 supplemental draft, has been hurt but worth taking a chance on his talent.

Looking for cap causalities guys that can still play at a moderate to high level with 1-2 years left on their deal. Gotta keep the QB upright to properly evaluate him

I foresee us grabbing some teams trash OL
For sure. We do this every year. And every year these guys stink. Always trying to manufacture some guards from the scrap heap - Lance Luis, Ted Larsen the list goes on and on. Though Larsen will always be remembered as the guy who took out P Chung on the Miracle play so there’s that. :)

Of course if Miami signs Ryan Allen, he’ll probably end up sucking because you know it’s Miami and we’ll be like well that’s why New England cut him.

I think we add an OL from final cuts … but we're not there yet.
