Better to sink a lot of cash into an impact stud at 2 overall than sink a moderate amount of cash into a most-likely mediocre guy from the middle of the first or beginning of the 2nd. THINK before proposing stuff like this man. Use the grape.
 
They would have to give us more compensation for the #2 pick like previously stated next years 1st.

Why did you bring up the Colts? Manning and Edge are no good?

You rtrade sucks... It's basically Surtain for a 2nd and our #2 for #15 and crap. Worthless trade.

we cannot really afford the #2 pick ($14 mil signing bonus) especially if they cannot come in and start.
I really hope we trade it and get more depth

:roflmao: Manning and Edge are great but, they're also the reason the Colt's defense sucks and they'll never win a Super Bowl. Now sit back down while the grown ups are talking.

I agree with him 100%!!!! Why does everyone NOT want to use this pick, like we have grabs for the 2nd best player in college......or best, however we look at it......I say we use it, but if we trade down we better stay in at least the top 8 - 10

Because you sacrifice quality at other positions when you dump a bunch of $$$ into 1 player.

I dont think anyone is totally against trading down. Actually I think most would agree it would be best for us. But your trade is absolutly horrible.
 
I just wish we'd trade Surtain already so these stupid trade proposals that have no chance of happening can stop being posted.

:lol: Well, hopefully a trade will be done soon. Then we can focus all talk exclusively on what to do with the #2 overall pick. And hopefully who to draft with the 2nd we just aquired for Surtain.
