Draft Day. What would YOU do?

I say we approach the Colts on draft day and tell them we'll trade them all our picks for Peyton Manning:roflmao:

If we can not trade down, have to go with Brown, the guy looked awesome at the combines.

This would take a trade or 2 to pull off, but I want Erasmus James (late 1), Earnest Shazor (early 2), Verand Morency (middle 2), and Kyle Orton (early 3). Take a DT later.

the way some teams like the Vikings and titans are talking about Mike Williams there might be an oppurtunity to trade down if his stock rises. Just depends if someone really likes one player. Unlikely but possible.

I believe A.J. is our present and future Q.B. I think we should get Bensonat number 4 or 5 after trading our number 2 for a 4th overall and a late 1st early 2nd. Get offensive line help early and a qb prospect later in the draft to groom.:D

I havent changed. Either Benson or Johnson at #2...and somehow we pick up Elton Brown latter on. I couldnt ask for more Well...Maybe Wilkerson after we pick up Brown:)

Based on what? I admit he had plenty of excuses, but I didn't see anything out of him that would make me comfortable betting on him for the future and passing up the rare opportunity to take a high pick qb. If you have Peyton or Donovan, ok. If you have Boller or Grossman, maybe you pass it by. But when you have a guy that was a 3rd stringer before we got him and could barely (eventually) beat Jay Fiedler out of the starting role, and then continued to underwhelm, you take a friggin qb! I'm not saying Feeley doesn't get his shot, I'm just not willing to bet our future on him without some realistic contingency plan. (Gus Frerotte is not a realistic contingency plan!)

I agree, but Its not like there is a Peyton, Vick, or McNabb at the top of the draft board. Rodgers and Smith could both very easily end up being mere products of their systems. If this was a year ago I would agree.

I think its safe to say I'm buying into the hype and would be happy to draft R. Brown at number two.

Having said that, I am still open minded to a trade down as long as it included later 1st round pick(s) as well as a veteran RB or OL.

i dont think benson is even an option..he doesnt fit well into the style of offense we will have

all I know is we cannot hope to replicate the success we have had in the past with such superstars as John Avery, Jamar Fletcher, Yatil Green, Eric Kumerow and John Bosa. :shakeno:
