If you guys have ESPN insider, you can see his post combine Mock. It now has us taking Brown #2 overall.

I guess the combine really helped out Brown alot.

He also adds he's waiting till march 23rd to see the numbers Benson puts up at his Texas pro day. Will be fixed soon enough.

Without a doubt, Mel mentions that in his reasons fot him moving up and also noted that all of Brown's intangables are the kind of things that Saban looks for in a player ...

and that we will want a versatile running back. one who can catch, run, and run over people all in the same play.

This isn't an attack or anything, but man, you are really committed to Benson. Don't get me wrong, I like him, but I like Brown as well. What will you do if we don't draft Cedric?

I have to tell you I am very torn because I love a back like Benson big strong and fast but Brown is also very tempting. But I really think Benson is pretty close to a sure thing so I tend to lean twords drafting him if we don't trade down.

Buy a ronnie brown jersey. oh you weren't asking me...

The reasons I lean towards Brown is because 1. He is bigger than Benson, 2. is a proven receiver out of the backfield, 3. is as fast as any of the top three & 4. fits the profile of the type of back that Linehan perfers in his system.

Not to mention he is a class act. People have said that he couldn't beat out Williams for the starting tail back position but that just isnt the reason he wasnt a full time player. It was selflessness on his part & Williams' part. They both agreed to share the job which to me, showed the kind of character that Saban likes. All this smack about Brown not being talented enough to beat out Caddy is pure rubbish.

That being said, will I be disapointed if we draft either of the three? Yes, a little if it isnt Brown, because he is my choice, but, I dont think we would regret drafting any of them.

That information cannot be posted, as it is paid content.

I think Kiper is right we will draft Brown.

I want a qb more than a rb now...since we got linehan and our system thrives on a qb with a good arm we'll need rodgers

Follow him wherever he goes... haha

If we don't then we don't. I have no control over it, and if Saban wants someone else (whether its a QB, RB, WR, whatever) then it's fine. Right now, I'm supporting Benson because he's the best there is in this draft IMO.
