ok so I was digging around the internet trying to find something to cool some of the fires out there.. I was wondering what teams that started 0-2 have done is the past and this is what I found.

1990 Houston Oilers (0-2) Wild Card Playoffs
1990 Philadelphia Eagles (0-2) Wild Card Playoffs
1990 New Orleans Saints (0-2) Wild Card Playoffs
1991 Atlanta Falcons (0-2) Wild Card Playoffs
1992 San Diego Chargers (0-4) Divisional Playoffs
1993 Pittsburgh Steelers (0-2) Wild Card Playoffs
1993 Dallas Cowboys (0-2) Won Super Bowl XXVIII
1994 New England Patriots (0-2) Wild Card Playoffs
1995 Detroit Lions (0-3) Wild Card Playoffs
1996 New England Patriots (0-2) Lost Super Bowl XXXI
1998 Arizona Cardinals (0-2) Divisional Playoffs
1998 Buffalo Bills (0-3) Wild Card Playoffs
1998 New York Jets (0-2) Championship Game
2001 New England Patriots (0-2) Won Super Bowl XXXVI
2002 Atlanta Falcons (0-2) Divisional Playoffs
2002 Pittsburgh Steelers (0-2) Divisional Playoffs

so there is still hope out there. Its better that we lose now and open our eyes and get the errors fixed now then later when we our weakness are noticed by others and exploited before we can fix them.

Lets go Dolphins!
Lets go Dolphans!
Bring on the support lets cheer this team to the top!

great work mindwarp. not that anyone will pay attention to it, but excellent post

Nice find, Mindwarp.

Hopefully this will cool the criticism for the time being

We fin fans aren't used to losing at the beginning of the season. It'll be alright. Gotta get that line fixed though.

over?

Over? Was it over when Germany bombed Pearl Harbor? .......Quote from "Animal House" , however 4 more games like Buffalo will make it over

Tell that to Dan Le Batard who's article I read at FLL airport Mon AM states that in the last 2 years, nobody has gone to the playoffs starting the season at 0-2.

The past 2 years? Ok, so why not 3 or 4 years? Ohhh that bc someone who went 0-2 HAD gone to the playoffs.

Way to try and scare us into thinking we're terrible A HOLE

16 tams in 15 years! How many 0-2 teams failed to make it!!!!! Close to 90%!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Fins will need to go a minimum ot 10-4 the rest of the way to have hope at a wild card spot. 10 wins does not always get you in. 2 AFC losses already.

NE 2 times, NYJ 2 times, Buf @ Buf, @Chi, KC, Min, Jax, and Indy to go.

Yeah we should.............win this weekend, then hopefully @ Houston. But @NYJ will be very very difficult. GB will be tougher than people think but should win. At Chicago looks bad if the ship does not right in a big big way. KC who knows w/ KC. Minnesota same as the KC situation. At Detroit should be a win. Then comes a stretch against Jax, NE, @ Buf, home against NYJ and finish it all against Indy. Better hope Indy is resting guys.

9-5 will be tough enough let alone 10-4! I still hold out hope, but if Pep remains a turnover prone qb, regardless how many TDs' and yds he throws for, both will be a stretch.

Hope Indy rolls, NE continues to let teams hang in w/ them all game long, Favre keeps throwing ints', Chicago trips in week 9, KC does not find itself, and the Jets cool off! Then we have a real shot!

Only 3 in the last 7 years made it! How many missed it?

It can happen. It will just be one steep hill to climb.

Everest!!!!!!

If week 3 is bad what are the stats on an 0-3 team making it?

the thing about 0-2 that scares me is that there is two more wins we MUST have....where we cant hang our hat on the fact that if we lose there is next week.

Thanks MindWarp, very good find, and very much needed with the way some of the people have behaved around here.
