Ok guys....here it is, 2 diff. scenarios and i think i'd take either one but prefer Scenario A.

Might I also add....I'd like us to part ways with Linehan. He isn't a running/poound the other team type of OC rather put 234234 pts on the board and throw like back in the marino era. He doesn't know how to balance it out.

:::A::::

Players released/cut...

1) Howard
2) Gus
3) Boston
4) Moore
5) Tillman
6) Can't think of anymore right now

Consider a trade or release as well...
1) Ricky Williams...trade or find a way to use him a lil less then RB cuz RB seems to be more productive n' our offense seems more insinc with him on teh field and seems like RB on the field is 85% of our offense in doing something.
2) Sam Madison...Trade for anything or release him.

FA...
1) Even tho our Off line is starting to gel together n play better i still think it is our Running backs that are gettin all these yards and working this hard. They dont get many easy yardage due to big holes but i dont see this as a HUGEE priority anymore as it was a few weeks back. So I'd approach it in this fashion...
Pick up Bentley if not tagged or someone else that is a GOOD C taht will fill our need in that position GREATLY.
2) LT...or a LG. Either one shoudl do fine for us but LT mainly.
3) Two in this field....I'd Want Woodson and Archuleta. If not those 2, either Tank Williams, Chavous, Hope, or Clement.
4) A speedy WR/possession WR but i doubt there are any there other hten another #2 WR in my opinion...R. Wayne or Randel El.
5) Most importantly, i forgot, either Peterson or Arrington

Draft...
1)
Try to trade and pick up Leinart...that means try to include a madison or RW in with a pick this year and maybe a 3rd next or soemthing for that pick. If not, Quinn if available.
2) 2nd rd...BPA in OLB or Off Line.
3) the one left from 2nd rd options
4)BPA rest of the way but we dont have a 4th either, so kinda sucks.

Now....All of the following except the Draft changes due to a diff. approach in FA...

:::B:::
1)
Pick up a Brees or Carr in FA, No other QB, dont need experiments.
Now in the Draft pick up...AJ HAWK or Greenway with the 1st rd cuz we have a QB of the future and with the 2nd rders Off Line or QB.

Sorry if i forgot a few things here and there or if I mixed up a few different cases and pick ups during the draft as this was a quick off the top of my head post.

BTW...I'd love B as well due to pickin up a OLB for us cuz i love those 2 but also would love Leinart instead. I would only want either AJ/Greenway with a Carr or Brees or Leinart with a Peterson.

I like both of the scenarios but i would prefer B because we wouldnt have to wait for carr or brees to adjust to the league and the would provide more right away and AJ Hawk is unbelievable and i would love to add him to our defense. and i might use a second round pick on Anthony Smith from syracuse. he is a great safety and is a playmaker and i think he is going to be a stud in the NFL.

Yes i'd LOVE LEINART or QUINN but then would LOVE aj hawk alongside one of those 2 qb's. I'd be very satisfied with aj or Leinart, any other route, i think i'd be disapointed.

I like #2, as I would love to have Hawk. He is a beast, and will make a huge impact on whatever team he goes to in the nfl. Problem is, I don't know if we'll be high enough to get him. Hes a top 8 pick, maybe even a top 5 depending on whos drafting where.

But for #1, look at this. Matt Lienhart might not go #1 in the draft! Bush could. It all depends on the drafting order. SF has their QB. GB has their future qb. Houston has their QB (Unless they give up on carr, then hell I'd pick him up) so, we don't have to give up as much to get leinhart.

WIth ricky, I would sti down with him after the season and talk to him. Tell him he will get a contract, but not as much as a feature back. Ask him what he wants to do. Does he want a trade somewhere to be a feature back, or stay in miami for less money than he can get elsewhere, and continue to split carries.

I know the team is like 25 million under the salary cap next season but signing all those players and still being under the cap would be next to impossible. Bringing in David Carr is a lateral movement the team would go from a bad veteran to a bad young QB, why would anybody even wanna make that move?

thing is, idont want him to split carries. we seem more explosive with RB and better with him on the field then RW. there seems to be a diff. spark with RB then RW.

i think we can pick up a peterson, a qb lets say brees or carr and a CB with a C. then with the rest pick through Draft if not, pick up a QB in the draft then instead of the carr/brees pick up go after another guy such as brouche or hutchinson. teh SS/FS is a possible pick up as well as they dont get top notch or big contracts.

I've seen alot of the old ricky out there. He has great vision, great moves, is abit faster, and is still a bruiser.

I liked the guy when he brought him in. We all know what happened last year, and we moved on. We have a beutiful now girlfriend now, withour ex kinda just hanging there, still coming in when we ask her to.

We'll probably end up trading RW, and we'll get some good return (should) but it woudl be nice to keep him if we could.

I think Tillman has been pretty good. He's cheap anyway and plays on special teams. Why cut a valuable, cheap, versatile player?

Ricky has averaged over 5 yards a carry the last two weeks. The guy is rounding into form. He has a VERY good contract and makes plays. What is wrong with having a little depth for a change?

Everytime we have a good backup Dolphin fans want to trade him.

Unless we get a 1st for Ricky there is no way I trade him.

He had a good day today and continues to play at a high level. No, he is NOT what he was 5 years ago but he is light years ahead of anything else we have.

Bentley will get tagged. Seth McKinney has been good this year. Is he Kevin Mawae? No, but he has been good none the less.

Free agent offensive lineman are notoriously over priced. There are'nt any left tackles (accept Jess Backus) that are an upgrade over McKintosh and Backus will get All Pro money even though he is not an All Pro.

I agree with left guard...Jeno James has been disappointing.

Archuleta is a little too one dimensional for my liking. Safties in Saban's scheme have to be able to run. Resign Schulters first.

I do think we need another safety though....just not Archuleta.

Woodson? WHY?

The guy makes Ron Mexico look underrated. He is an injury waiting to happen, is a locker room cancer and has personal problems.

We won't have the ammo to move up tp the #1 pick. It would probably take a first, second and a later pick in the '06 draft and a first in the '07 draft.

As bad as the offense has been I think we're a Q.B. away from being pretty good...if we would just run the ball more.

I think Saban goes HEAVY on defense this year. My #1 priorities are outside linebacker and defensive tackle.

Yes we do have a 4th-- we dont have a fifth.

I agree with some of the thigns you said but at the same time disagree. Agree with our Off line but not our Center, he is horrible. You seem him chasing DT more then pushign them. Oh n' by chasing im talkin about from the back of the defender...meaning he has already gotten beat. I do like ricky williams but I woudl only want to trade him for picks one, cuz we have TOO MANY holes on this team and RB can do a lot better thne RW is now...not to jinx. So why not trade him or include him in a trade to fill another hole that is more imp. then our RB position? i'd like him incase RB gest injured tho. so its a hard call. Madison i do like but TOO MUCH money for a #2 CB right now. as for the WR, i menat wayne isn't a number 1 rather a 2, those are the only 2 wr out there worthy but we dont need antther number 2, sorry i wrote it out wrong.
