im already thinking about our draft next year as it is.If you had two first round picks and 1 of the rest what positions would you pick.

1.omar jacobs-leinhart will go to early but he doesnt make mental errors
1.marcus mcneill ot-6'9 337 the next ogden im liking him
2.og-max jean-gilles-all american from georgiaand 6'4 340
3.nick reid-linebacker from kansas up for def.player of year.preseason all american.channing and nick would be killer duo.
4.If he is there this late charles gordan cb from kansas.Up for defensive player of the year.tied for most ints last year.
5.safety
6.dt
7.ol

I like some of the picks. You seem to be stocking up big time on the o-line. I think we should also look at getting a wr to groom for the future.

When looking at our depth and team of starters I feel we need to draft a Center, QB, LBs, and Safetys right now. Depending on how Poole recovers and Daniels does this year we will need another CB. McIntosh is still fairly young at 29 but we may need a LT as well. We have depth at DT but they are old other than Vickerson/Wright, so depending on how they progress this year will tell us if we need a DT. All of our Starting LBs are old, with Channing taking up one spot we then need to add more LBS as well. I think what we draft will completely depend on how our Oline holds up this year and where we finish. We have so many holes that we have to draft the BPA. Looking at last years team that finished 6-10 they drafted 8th and 13th I believe. Compare this to the top prospects this year and we coud very well get AJ Hawk or Chad Greenway or take the CB from BC. So many options because we have so many holes I'd rather wait to see how we do to make a complete analysis.

Projections are fun to do but one of the major issues I have with these is football is full of uncertainties. Major changes can happen in a year, one of our players might get injured, players like Alabi might become superstars overnight, who will be available in the free-agent market and which ones of these projected first rounders will have an off year or be injured.

You think the Chargers expected Brees to have such a great year?

The great thing about football is anything can happen lets wait and see.

McNiell is good, but if we have a chance to take D'Brickashaw, I might prefer him

I think McNeil could be an absolute stud at a position that Miami needs help. I haven't seen Omar Jacobs yet, but hear comparisons to Daunte Culpepper who was a perfect fit for Linehan's offense in Minny. If he comes out, all of a sudden there are two potential franchise qb's out there. The Dolphins have a lot of needs so they could go in a number of directions. As it stands right now, quarterback, left tackle, defensive tackle, saftety and cornerback are the need areas.

CB is starting to become the biggest need but next year's draft is all about the line.

Consideringthe issues w McMike we could look at Pope the TE from Georgia if he comes out. He looks like a better version of Randy.

i agree... but do you see feeley or Ferrote having a "great" year like brees had....or our Safties? I feel that when Poole comes back our Cb's will honestly be fine...Daniels is coming up very nicely..

Picking alot of OL. Houck is a good couch so picking one that high might not be necessary. QB and a DB and a LB should be high priority!

too far ahead for me but I hope we take Omar Jacobs and then a RT, C, and S

Isn't there enough of these threads alread?
