Just some of my thoughts after the first quarter of the season.

Our O line starting to earn its money

Wake can get to the QB in the NFL

This team and coaching staff are proving to be slow starters

I have no opinion on Henne until after his 4th start.

The wildcat is here to stay

The Jets Defense is for real

Belicheat is either the best coach ever or he sold his soul to the devil.

Rams are the worse team in football

Dick Jauron should of been fired 3 years ago

Denver upsets NewEngland in Denver next week

How and why did Mangini get another gig so quick

Tony Mcdaniel one of the best pick ups for us this offseason

The 49ers are for real

Josh Mcdaniels coach of the year

The over/under on TO crying in an interview is 3 games

If our O line continues to play dominate football we can still win the division.

Even at 1-3 I like our team, rookie corners coming along, young OL and DL

Ginn will never be a #1 WR

Let me know what your thoughts are after the first quarter of the season i

Our Oline is the #1 rush offense..they have started to earn their money week 1

You can use the argument that we started 0-2 the last few years but we are rebuilding this team. We had 2 rookies in the secondary this year....IMO we WILL NOT do that again next year

I like all of the other ones :chuckle: but im still going to hold out hope that ginn steps up his game

Sold his soul to the devil long ago.
Just read a article on the Pats /Ravens game Ravens defense complaining about 2 questionable calls on Brady which extended both drives that lead to TD's. Seems if you even touch Brady the ref's throw the flag. Like Ed Reed said "tough to play against the Pats and the officals" Officals " expect a big fine next week Mr Reed and Mr Lewis"

Is this the only way the Pats can win is by the Ref's helping them out??? Sold his soul to the devil... you bet he did!!!:err:

The Rams are bad, but the Browns are far worse.

damn Xpacolypse you beat me to the punch . I think the Rams have far more talent the Browns and my two favorite tightends are not even used in the passing game because of epth. but I will tell you who may be close to being that bad and that is the redskins . oh Snyder must be having a hissy fit for sure.

Like most of your points but i agree with x-pacolypse the browns are bad they have no RB both QB's stink and thier top WR drops many passes.
Glad we didnt take Quinn.

Regardless of the record I still like our team better than last years it is more talented and has so much depth. As far as slow starters I think that this any there were 3 factors. Yes first our schedule is much tougher and teams appear to be really preparing for us much better than last year, second I agree with another poster we are still rebuilding and it shows the secondary is under reconstruction along with the offensive line and now quarterback positions and third I believe the Pennington may have been a bit more nicked up more than anyone knew and was trying to play it conservative. Penningotn had to play it too conservative you cannot beat high flying teams like the Atlanta, Colts etc unless you can score quickly or your defensive secondary can shut them down which our team until this week could do neither. The secondary might just be getting it together along with the offensive line and now the real focus will be at QB. The DL is there along with our RB's and thats what we are seeing every week.

I know that Ayodele,Crowder,and Anderson have 3.5 sacks in 186 games...3.5 sacks in 186 GAMES:ponder:

Wake has 3 sacks in ONE game:chuckle:

One of my observations is that the NFL refs suck. The way they protected Brady yesterday was nauseating.

I was never a Rodney Harrison fan for obvious reasons, but him calling Brady out last night was refreshing and hilarious.

I was shocked that Rodney did that. I thought for sure he would cover up for for his ex-teammate, but I'm glad he called both him and the NFL out.

Agree, Those flags were huge.......also what happened to the investigation on Coach Cable for breaking his Asst. jaw?

and they have Mangini as coach.......fair point

If we beat the Jets next week (and that's a big if), I think they pull a trade for a receiver. I don't know who (maybe Bowe), or for what, but I think they'll upgrade the position if we're looking poised to make a run.
