We have made the playoffs one time in fourteen years. Let that sink in for a second. One time in fourteen years.

I guess the point of this post is to say that we have paid our dues, beyond paid our dues, and deserve a winner. Miami gets a bad rap with regards to fan attendance, but who can deny all the crap we have dealt with.

We stuck around after numerous embarrassing media debacles including Bully-gate, Marino quitting as Vice President after 3 weeks, Ireland asking Dez Bryant if his mom was a hooker and getting spurned by almost every head coach we go after.

We stuck around through Ricky retiring a week before training camp, coming back, getting suspended, getting suspended again, then retiring again.

We stuck around after we traded a 2nd round pick for A.J. Feeley, and then a 3rd rounder for Lamar Gordon.

We stuck around after using high draft picks on Jamar Fletcher, Eddie Moore, Jason Allen, Ted Ginn, John Beck (remember him?), Pat White, Jared Odrick, and Dion Jordan (time will tell).

We stuck around through a 1-15 season.

We stuck around after being burned by Jim Harbaugh and Nick Saban.

We stuck around after signing Daunte Culpepper instead of Drew Brees.

We stuck around through the QB carousel of nightmares that is Daunte Culpepper, Gus Frerotte, Joey Harrington, Cleo Lemon, Chad Henne, and Ray Lucas.

We stuck around through one playoff appearance in fourteen years.

Adam Gase, we have stuck around and continued to support this team through all of this bullcrap, NOW GIVE US THE TEAM WE DESERVE!

It's been a very long time. When Bledsoe got knocked out of the game I thought our chances increased. In came Brady and a decade of sucking followed. That was the turning point.

If only Bledsoe stayed in that game, maybe Brady would have never gotten a shot.

Tom Brady and the Patriots are not the reason why this team gets its ass kicked by just about every other single team in the league...everything starts at the top, and this organization has been a gigantic pile of **** since JJ quit and Marino retired.

FWIW, I know everyone loves placing the entire blame on Ross and rightfully so, but Huizenga did not do this team any favors and were it not for him inheriting Marino/Shula I suspect the fall from grace would've started a decade earlier.

Yeah, don't expect the team to be in a place to contend for a playoff spot for at least a couple years, and that's if things go well and they hit on some draft picks and FAs.

does 2 times in 15 years diminish your point or something?

Meanwhile I've seen my basketball team in the Finals six times since 1999. Miami has nothing on them. They've been a bunch of losers for years and we're all tired of it.

That is why this is a great job for Gase. If he gets into the playoffs he will be praised. If he does it two straight years, he will be celebrated. If he wins a playoff game or two over the next few years, they will start a parade.

Hell, if he wins more than he loses, there will be excitement.

It stinks. We have had weak leaders. Weak coaches, a weak front office. We're losers. We're losing. We need strong leadership now, coach Gase.

Make Miami Great Again.

And the year we did get in it was because Brady was hurt and we got stomped in the first round :( Rough go for a Dolphin fan. When I tell people that I'm a Dolphin fan now I'm met with a universal "I'm sorry"

Who cares if this is a great job for Gase? I think the important question is whether Gase will be the right coach for Miami.

Just win!

Don't blame it on the Patriots.....they aren't keeping us from winning....we are 3-3 against them the last 3 years. The problem is Ownership, coaching and management.

Stop the excuses....just win!
