The fact that 1 week ago everybody was feeling great about this team and talking about playoffs. Everyone was saying that we are starting to mesh well and that we can beat anybody...... Than we go out and lose a hell of a game (which I think we played great) and everybody starts talking **** about this guy being a bust and that this guy sucks..... Come on people. Thats the reason why we have empty seats in the stadium on Sundays. Half our fans are all Bandwagon riders. Look at the Marlins. Remember how many people were buying t-shirts and hats when they were in the world series??? Same goes for the Heat and the Canes.......

My point is, lets take this loss like ****ing men and stop whining. We are not going to win them all. You win some you lose some. The thrill of victory, the agony of defeat. Thats part of being a fan. So all you people talking ****, remember where we were last year. Think about it good.

I was mad for a couple hours after the game, but we stayed with the Pats for 3 1/2 quarters. Just a couple plays here or there and we could have won it. We are 6-5 and I think we could start a nice long winning streak......I think three of the teams we have coming up are definitely teams we can beat (KC, San Fran and the Rams) and the other two are against the Bills and Jets. We should be able to finish no worse than 9-7....10-6 is not out of the question, and we could win all five games if things go our way. The Pats have the Steelers next. The Colts look like they have an easy schedule for one of the WC's, but the remaining Wild Card will probably come down to the Pats, Ravens and the Phins. I like our chances and you'll get no whining from me after our ONE win season last year.

its because we love them that we post. last year that would have been a moral victory for a 1-15 team to keep with them for as long as we did...this year we want more. greed is a human emotion that applies to nearly everything, sports included

we played great yesterday? did you turn it off everytime the phins were on defense?

because that really killed our playoff hopes. Look at this:

jets in contoll of the division

Indy gonna make playoffs in wildcard spot (cle, cin, det, jac, tenn-probably wont play starters much) They have the easiest schedule left in football.

that leaves ONE spot open for Balt, NE and Mia right now

Both have a game lead on us Balt has tie breaker over us (so its really two games over us)

NE has 1 game lead and some easy games left. (Oak, Sea, Buf...)

Now we arent out of it but in all reality, we are. With us losing Greg Camarillo for the season, our WRs arent looking too well. Yes ginn and bess have stepped up but other than that who do we have? London...wilford...both dont get much playing time to even see if we have anything there. Im sure we will see some more of both of them soon. It doesnt look like Jake Longs injury is bad but now he might have some durablitiy issues for the rest of the season and our o-line depth is garbage. Our secondary isnt very good. I think we can hope for a 9-7 or 8-8 record and should be VERY HAPPY with that after ouyr last few seasons...but it doesnt look too good for the playoffs

And last week there were threads about that if we lost to the pats, we would still be fine, but now everyone is making threads about the season being over

Yeh, the part I dont get is we had a "good" chance according to many to make the playoffs with 6 games remaining. We lose a game...and then there is NO chance? So basically you were expecting the team to win 10 in a row to finish the season at 12-4 to make it? I didnt think we were gonna make the playoffs before the NE game, but I dont get how so many were thinking we were gonna make it and jump off the bandwagon after 1 loss.

no but it is WHO we lose the games to... it hurts when we lose in the division becasue that is the main tie breaker and i could see us needing that tie breaker against the pats if we have any shot

and the fact of us not having camerillo any more hurts that shot

Exactly. Miami blew it yesterday..They just need to work on the team. Put in Wilford, London, and Henne and get them some game time at least.

The guy just explained it.. Colts 99% have a wildcard. Baltimore has the Tie breaker over us and have decently easy schedule left, considering how good they are playing.. They play the bengals, redskins, steelers, cowboys, and jaguars. They could win 1 of those games or win 4 of them, again, considering how well they have been playing.

NE has the seahawks, cardinals, steelers, bills, and oakland left.
The pats could with 4 of those games.. then again the Seahakws and oakland have been playing Real well.. So I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Either way. If Miami would have beat NE they would have had a Much much much higher chance of getting into the playoffs. Now their chances are Quite slim. Good job Miami. Ya did the fans a real favor. :rolleyes2:

It happens on every board, ups and downs of being a die hard fan.

I think them winning as much as they have done should be enough of a favor for the fans...no one realistically expected the playoffs

It's not that the Phins have no chance but they no longer control their own destiny. They're going to need some serious help to get a WC.
