Seeing how BP is shopping for the groceries... I have a feeling that our WR group will consist of guys like Camarillo, Bess, and Hartline for a while. I know some here call P Turner a bust and a wasted pick, but I don't think they see him as a lost. Like the Ginn followers would say, WR takes 3 years....(not really). In the 2nd year, they have to show signs of hope. Hartline is a fast learner and I think will be really good.

I know PT has dropped some in practice, but I'd activated him just to have a redzone target!

Like I've said before, Our offense is fine. If you need proof just go ask the Defense that before we played them was giving up 9 ppg even against teams like the saints.

With what we have on O, we're fine. There is always room for improvement, but we can win with what we have. Now on the D, we need a safety or 2 and a pass rush.

I never said our O isn't fine.

I just wanted to start a thread about good solid WRs and stop that nonsense about throw 2 picks at a guy like Bowe. I'm glad today passed, now we can see Hartline develop. Bess continue to grow and get better and Camarillo not only get healthier, but learn this system better. Ginn will be Ginn. And P Turner might be interesting to see.

Hopefully Patrick Turner will do something in the near future. I feel like we need a big go up and get em receiver whether he be a number 1 draft pick or not. Remember Oronde Gadsden? Someone with big hands who can make catches like this...

Damn, funny you mention OG. When I was looking at USC clips of Turner, I thought maybe this guy can be just that. OG was slow, but damn he made some grabs!

I can see where some of you are coming from , however I still would like to have a Boldin or Ocho typ player who can get our offense some attenion.

no i dont work in marketing but it would be cool to see the dolphins have some players who's jerseys really sell. yes I am greedy but I love the glamour and the awards and all that when the team gets props its a compliment to the fanbase . my stance on this is ; if we have to endure the negative publicity then why not enjoy the success and good pub.

For someone who doesn't work in marketing or public relations you sure do talk about it.... A LOT. Perhaps you missed your true calling.

you do know that marketing people are good fans too . dont you ole buddy ole pal ?

I think our best option is for Turner to step up, that way we can use our draft picks on another position, somewhere on defense, maybe TE Jermaine Gresham if he's available, Eric Berry, Taylor Mays, Brandon Spikes, as of right now Patrick Turner's development is very important for the 2010 draft

I agree. And hopefully they'll try to work him into the rotation at some point this year, but i don't expect him to be an impact this year. In fact, the only possible development/ impact I see is Hartline. Bess and Cam are solid 2 & 3 guys.

I bet they tried to get a trade, but Parcells is a guy who would rather not make a deal if he doesn't like the price

I'm sure they did. They probably thought of every possibility we did (bowe, smith, etc) and then some. They know more about every player in this league than us fans could ever hope to. If the price was right, I guarantee they would have pulled the trigger.

yep

There are some GM's who want the player and will do almost anything to get him. Kinda like Mike Ditka trading his entire draft to grab Ricky Williams.

Parcells isn't like that. The price better be right or Parcells will decline to trade. He doesn't care. He figures he can get another player just as good or better through the draft or better price.

if, say, we're picking at #24 and Arrelious Benn stares us in the face, we'll think long and hard about picking him IMO. if we're in position to get a true #1 WR, we'll do it. so far, we really haven't had the opportunity.
