Nate Garner, who left the game as well, is practicing during the period open to the media.

#Dolphins starting G Daryn Colledge (migraines) appears to be sitting out during the early portion of practice.

Dolphins tight end Dion Sims is not working today.

Koa Misi appears to be working but he has a very noticeable limp because of his left ankle injury.

Trade deadline is less than two hours off, yet Dennis Hickey is here watching practice. Read into that what you will.

Anyone available via trade who can help us at LB? To me that's a MUCH bigger need than any other position on the team.

Is Tripp healthy? I would rather see him than Trusnik at this point

I think he is 100% healthy at this point. The only thing I can think of is from what they see of him at practice- they don't think he is an upgrade at this point.

Neither do I but I really wish we would. We have a massive problem at LB and we may never have a healthy Misi this year.

I agree but it has to be something that would make sense and most of the time the team with the player is trying to get higher value than he deserves, thus we don't see many trades. Here we are one hour before the deadline and have there been any trades at all yet?

Dennis Hickey update: still at practice.

Not that I can think of. Typical sorry NFL when it comes to being able to trade players. There's so much more excitement with baseball and basketball around the trade deadline and in the NFL you rarely ever see trades.

Surely someone has a 4th or 5th LB who would be better than us trotting out Trusnik to start. Someone we could send a 4th or 5th round pick for.

Could be, of course they weren't going to start Jenkins either

Among other players who missed time in Sunday’s game, right guard Mike Pouncey, who left in the fourth quarter to rest his surgically-repaired left hip, was practicing Tuesday.

Sims was on last week’s injury report with a neck issue. He played against the Jaguars and had two receptions for 51 yards, including a 38-yard reception. Colledge was replaced in Sunday’s 27-13 Jacksonville victory due to a migraine headache. (Neither practiced).

Middle linebacker Koa Misi, who missed the game with an ankle injury, was in uniform for practice but the Dolphins were only doing special teams drills during the portion media was allowed to watch. Safety Jimmy Wilson, who missed the Jacksonville game with a hamstring injury, was practicing Tuesday. Wilson was replaced in the nickel package last week by safety Michael Thomas and cornerbacks Jamar Taylor and Will Davis.

Wilson is just as important as Misi. Taylor needs to get the heck off of the field.

maybe the haters would call it massive on the eve before week 1, but this LB Core is far away from having MASSIVE problems

How do you figure? Our best LB will probably miss most of the year, we've already got our highest paid LB out for the year. The next highest paid guy is no longer getting much PT. We've got a late round rookie who's not seeing time. We've got a career backup and ST player starting at MLB. So how do you figure that it's not a massive problem and by far our biggest weakness on the team?
