#Dolphins release QB Seth Lobato from practice squad, sign a few players... if there's a trade (Doug Martin?) not official yet.

Today's additions to the practice squad: TE Evan Wilson, TE Gerell Robinson, CB Rashaan Melvin.

To make room, the Dolphins released Seth Lobato, Jake Murphy and Rod Sweeting.

They obviously feel there is a need at TE would assume with all the constant moves at TE on the practice squad.

Dion Sims is starting to quietly make some noise. We need to look to him more. He is sneaky open.

Or they are bringing guys in that mimic opposing players to practice. Some good, big, TEs coming down the pipe. These new TEs big boys?

sims will play this week...they just are giving him a rest from that hit he took on his neck early in the season on one reception...sims is a vital part of this offenses blocking scheme...flows across the formation post snap to pick up edge rushers one on one so we can work off pa etc...solid in space on outside runs gets to lbs etc and comes down inside the formation to pick up 2nd level pursuit players...production more about being forgotten about as a receiver than anything talent wise other than soft hands but vital to the scheme...if this team lost him we'd be in a world of hurt trying to replace what he brings

underappreciated

He's also our better receiving threat at TE it appears now as Clay has been awful this year. We need Sims to get healthy and to continue to get better.
