Which relative unknown will come out of nowhere and establish himself as a contributor, following in the footsteps of Patrick Cobbs, Dan Carpenter and Davone Bess?

Erik Walden developed into a special teams stud when he arrived late last season. Maybe the Cowboys' 2008 sixth-round pick will blossom as a pass rusher in his second NFL camp. According to his teammates, defensive end Lionel Dotson is a disruptive pass rusher who is close to earning playing time. Anthony Armstrong's speed and refined route running made him the buzz of the offseason program. If he has a strong camp he could become the sixth receiver spot on the 53-man roster. Offensive linemen Nate Garner and Frye are also pushing hard to elevate their roles.

Can Ted Ginn Jr. regain his role as the Dolphins' primary returner?

Ginn was a dynamic kickoff and punt returner at Ohio State, but he's fizzled in those roles as a pro. At one point last season the Dolphins completely gave up on using Ginn as a returner. Bess handled punt returns for most of the season because of Ginn's limited quickness, and Cobbs eventually took over as the kickoff returner because the tailback ran into the wedges provided by blockers harder than Ginn. The Dolphins want Ginn to maximize each opportunity, but their preference is for this former first-round pick to master his responsibilities as a starting receiver first.
