1-The Dolphins will never truly know what they have in Ryan Tannehill until they put at least an average line in front of him.

2-Pass rush and stopping pass rush wins championships in the modern NFL.

3-There are no sure-fire impact free agency signings on the line.

4-Brandon Albert is too frequently injured.

5-Investment in Mike Pouncey.

6-Dallas Thomas has been a known liability for years.

7-Jamil Douglas and Billy Turner have not proven to be significant improvements over Dallas Thomas.

8-There will be plenty of top tier Guard options even with a trade-down from pick 13 in the first round.

9-Improved guard play will help the run game overcome the loss of Lamar Miller.

10-The cost-return is better from younger players.

Early yes, first round no. Best player available, because it will fill one of the millions of holes that they have.

I have one good reason. The interior offensive line blows and we ignored it again in FA for some God awful reason.

Sometimes I think some fans love ignoring OL so much that they would rather have Dallas Thomas starting every year.

Oh wait...

Oh wait...

This is the first year you can say the OL has been ignored (so far). Prior to this year, it most certainly has not been.

I've been pounding the table for Taylor Decker from Ohio State. The offense would just need a running back to share carries with Ajayi

I think we can add 2 late (4 and Later) round G's and take a step towards getting the OL where it should be.

If we want to get to the postseason we should address the OL but we need to fix the D and we need to fix it ASAP...

top 10 reasons to draft 10 offensive lineman - because our whole offensive line either sucks or is injury prone!

Hickey was coming close to solving the oline. Started with absolutely nothing. Solved both tackle positions. Turner and Jamil have infinitely more potential than Dallas. Signing Evan Mathis would have made a world of difference unfortunately by that point in FA TBum had already completely taken over. Hickey made a lot of strides in only one full year. Such a shame Tbum swindled all that power from a completely clueless Ross.

1. Because we have a bad line.

2.. thats about it.

I agree that OL...especially guard needs to be addressed early, no later than Rd. 2. My biggest reason is that OL is not as deep as other positions in this draft. This class is loaded with CBs, RBs, and DE prospects.

I don't know how the board will shake out, but if Cody Whitehair and Joshua Garnett are still on the board in Rd. 2, I quit *****footing around and give the OL coach his pick. Garnett is the more powerfull of the two. Whitehair is the better technician, and can possibly swing to tackle in a pinch. In fact, I double up on OG in this draft.

It's too bad Ifedi is unlikely to be there at 42. He has the tools to play either tackle spot, and he has the sand in his pants to play OG - also has experience at both OG and OT. Outside of him, I see OT's and OG's worth drafting, but I don't see any 2-for-1's (with Conklin also being off the board). I'd target S. Coleman (Auburn) in the 2nd. Held his own against M. Garrett, who may be the best Edge since 2011. I'd like to draft an OG early, but 2 of the top 3 picks should be D. I'm a big Connor McGovern fan, but I don't think he lasts until the 4th. He's the RG in the gif below.
