1. Boston, if he stays healthy, can make or break us this year. I think he showed last night that he has the burst that he had in AZ. With him healthy, our recieving corp could be top 3 in the league.

2. Crowder should be something special. He looked like he had good instinct out there with some nice strength.

3. Everyone should stop ripping on Lamar Gordon. There is a good chance that he will be our starter in weeks 1-5 if the Ronnie Brown signing gets delayed any longer.

4. Donald Lee needs to be a sole long snapper. No more playing time at TE, he has hands of rock.

5. Thompson needs to be moved to #5 on the depth chart. I am sick and tired of him not making the clutch catch. That pass in the first quarter needs to be caught .

6. AJ needs to get some sort of butt padding in his pants. He bruised his buttocks again, are you kidding me!

7. How come every time we send a blitzer, he gets picked up, but everytime the opposing team sends a blitz, he knocks our qb on his ***?

8. I love the replay of the long bomb to Muhammud because Zach completely destroys someone on a blitz in front of the bears qb. I obviously dont like the results of the play.

9. Shulters, Jones, and Middleton will be greatly appreciated when they make it into shape and get some playing time.

Ed Perry is our long snapper, and has been here since Shula drafted him. He's one of the best in the game. Donald Lee should just be cut.

And too bad Zach didn't get to the QB, or another of our blitzers. When you blitz and don't get to the QB, you give up long pass plays.

2. Least of our concerns - scary thing is he will get even better
3. Gordon better get his sctick going or he'll find himself out of a job - even before RW can play.
4.Lee is a memory. Not good to have hands of stone while trying to be an NFL tightend..:shakeno:
5. DT will never be a top notch receiver in the NFL. But he can be a clutch WR at certain times. Remember the NE game last season?
6. AJ needs to ride the pine a little and watch how the QB is supposed to play. And then give him another chance.
7. 4-12 last season. It'll take some time to revert that number.
8. Muhammad did that all of last year to many DBs. Probably will continue throughout this season as well.

1. Chambers will have better numbers than Moss this year he will tear it up my prediction is 100 cathces for more than 1000 and more than 15 tds
2. So will Mcmicheal
3. Forget the budd pads our ****ing offensive line has to start looking like they have a clue, if not were doomed and none of these will happen
4. WHERE IS OUR SECONDARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he cought three for 29 yrds, as for the original post....gordon had 1 yrd last night and did not look very good, its only the first game so i agree, no one should be upset with him but i would think if he continues it he should not be starting, minor, morris an Kay Jay looked better, even ricky looked better at times, we'll wait and see for that though

I think Saban will have are d-line do some blitze packeages on the o-line when they practive again at camp, the o-line did not to bad for pass protection, I think Vernon Carey did pretty good, he was rarely beat, and when he was he hustled and pushed the guy to the outside so that our qb had a little bit more time and could step up and deliver the ball. Madison did ok, he needs to learn how to tackle though, Bell did decent too, it was tillman and Howard, especailly that were really getting burned, Dainels and Schulters should help the secondary out, but it goes hand in hand too, where is the d-line? there has to be some pressure on the qb, he can't have 20 seconds to throw the ball, any qb will pick apart a D if they have that much time.

Lamar Gordon isn't the answer!!!! I would rather have Sammy being the starter weeks 1 through 5 if Ronnie isn't. There are only a handful of running backs that can run straight up and be good. Eric Dickerson and soon to be NFL Superstar Adrian Peterson...or as we call him here AD come to mind.
