104 Total Yards? Very Misleading or STFU Fart Scott

The Jets are all about "hey...we shut down their offense...blah,blah,blah... only 8 yards running Wildcat...blah blah blah.

But the real deal is that the Dolphins' offense did not have that many opportunities in the 2nd half with the football...BUT WHEN WE DID...we rammed it down their throats.

Many will say Ginn won it for us (returning) or JT won it for us (fumble/TD), but to me, clearly...we won because we had that great drive for a touchdown in the 4th quarter.

Had our offense had the ball more in the 2nd half, I'd bet we would've rammed it down their throats and kept their princess offense off the field just like we have all year to other offenses.

So yeah Bart Scott, you F**king mouth, if you could have stopped Miami that one time in the 4th quarter, when we went right down the field and totally dominated your defense, then you'd have something to say...but you didn't...AGAIN!!!! and you lost...AGAIN!!!

Very true. Part of the reason for the low yds is because we had 2 quick strikes on KO returns. There isn't much difference between that and what the Colts did to us except it isn't reflected in the stat sheet. A score is a score. I think Dungy put it in perspective.
When the Jets scored following our defensive score, the offense went out and put together a nice drive.
Who is to say our offense wouldn't have put up another long drive or 2 on those other possessions.
The Jets high yardage was also due to them playing catch up and taking some chances downfield out of neccesity, NOT by choice.
Its about time our team pulls one out like this. We have been on the losing end of games where we have dominated the stat sheet.

I dont think we have seen the end of strange happenings this year. With youth across the board there's going to be some ugly moments but equally some exciting events also...

its very misleading because of the 2nd half drives... we only had 4, with one of them being the kneel downs at the end... our offense wasn't on the field, its not like the Jets just completely shut them down to that amount of yards, we had 1 drive for 3 plays in the whole 3rd quarter... its not our fault we dominated the Jets on special teams and that Shonn Green was made to look like a fool by Paul Soliai and we got touchdowns there...

This is a great thread, I thought of this last night.... you add in 2 drives in place of those two KO returns and we got over 2 hundred yards of offense....and then the fumble return gave the NY offense the ball back again... it's not like the jests were playing great ball control offense, mind you our D should've made a few more plays there at the end, although they came up big when it counted.. we just didn't have the possession in the 2nd half... great drive when we needed it.... I don't think there's anything significant wrong with our O, no doubt the jests played inspired D yesterday

lol not happening. they're on BYE next week and have 2 weeks to stew over the loss. while miami is preparing for NE, ryan and co. will continue to flap their gums about how neither of our wins "count" for whatever ridiculous reason makes them feel better.

I half way agree, that last drive when we went 3 and out at with about 2 mins left was a killer, if we could have gotten 2-3 first downs the jets never get back on the field, when they went 3 and out it opened the door for the Jets to drive for a winning score. The Fins need to learn to put the stake through a teams heart when they get the chance to. It happened in the NO game and happened yesterday. Lucky for the Fins the defense stepped up when they did or the Jets would be talking big time smack about how the Fins cannot put anyone away when they have the chance.

You guys still whine about the correct call on the Edwards PI from a few weeks ago and I can't mention a clear fumble that you guys lost that they gave back to you? That was a HUGE call as was the penalty on the 2 pt conversion which would have brought us w/in 3. We still had chances, I'm not whining but those plays have to be pointed out.

there wasnt indisputable evidence to reverse the call. ryan should have thrown the flag. he should know by now when offenses hurry to run the next play it might be a close call. but we all know he likes to use his timeouts when he dont need to. so thats probably why he didnt throw the flag.

yes your D played well... we had 3 2nd half drives, one of them 13 plays, 62 yards and a TD...

but again if our offense isn't on the field because we're killing you guys with STs TDs and defensive TDs, thats not praise for your defense... yes you held us but if we dont have the ball its not as impressive...

its the same crap you guys were saying about the Saints game, thinking you held them though Sanchez gave them 2 TDs so their offense didn't have as many chances, or need as many chances to win...

Depends on how you want to look at it...we've played 1 less game. We've both lost 4 games.

I could swear I read your posts about how we whine abut the refs....pot meet kettle!
