Pundits say the scoring differential will help determine how good a team really is...so let's see.

Miami was outscored 433-319 on the season. That -114 differential is 30th in the league, only the Raiders and Cardinals are worse. The Jets who lost 38-3 today have a better differential than Miami.

Scoring Differentials under Gase:

2018: -114 (30th)
2017:-112 (29th)
2016:-17 (24th)

Total:-243 being outscored by a grand total of 1,206-963

That's insane. What more does Ross need to see that Gase and the rest of the FO aren't going to lead this franchise to success anytime soon?

By Comparison here's the point differentials under 3 full Philbin seasons:

2012: -29 (20th)
2013:-18 (18th)
2014:+15 (15th)

Philbin was getting better in this regard every season, even managed to get on the plus side once. Gase is going the opposite direction.

For what it's worth these are the Miami point differentials since 2003:

2003:+50 (12th)
2004:-79 (26th)
2005:+1 (17th)
2006:-23 (19th)
2007:-170 (31st)
2008:+28 (16th)
2009:-30 (20th)
2010:-60 (22nd)
2011:+16 (14th)
2012: -29 (20th)
2013:-18 (18th)
2014:+15 (15th)
2015:-79 (28th)
2016:-17 (24th)
2017:-112 (29th)
2018:-114 (30th)

TOTAL:-621...yikes!

The OPs point is well taken.
Hopefully Ross sees the point.

1200 points allowed in 3 seasons is a little alarming as well...That's about 25 points allowed per game. Not going to make the playoffs like that when your offense is only scoring 20 a game...barely.
