Panthers, Bills , Bucs , Ravens

all lost due to coaching either on the OC or DC or Philbin

we could easily be 12-4

4th and 10 and our DC admits he calls a wrong play which causes carolina to not only move the chains but score a TD.

Bills Tannehill fumbles on basically a drive where all we had to do was eat up the clock.

Ravens due to philbin.

Bucs again in the 4th quarter we lose.

i aint even counting our last two games of complete collapse.

it is what it is.

We could have been 4-12...so after averaging everything out...8-8...no improvement...burn it all down.

Allow me to retort: Jake Long or equivalent was worth at least one more win. Instead of adding a good lineman Ireland decided to collect interest on $22 million in cap space.

Of course, nothing is Ireland's fault. I'm all for them to clean house including Philbin but please, lets not make the same mistake again of getting rid of the HC(Sparano) but not the GM. This time I hope Ross learnt his lesson and gets rid of everyone.

Ozzy rules!!

You left out the first patriots game when we were up 17-3 in the first half and then lost because Miami made NO adjustments and NE did.

And you attribute the wins to whom?

cant win without players and IRELANDS job is to find players.

in the BIGGEST opportunity for talent acquisition this team has ever had, ireland landed a goose egg. not ONE starter from the draft and only one saw any significant time.

so philbin had the same team basically than the past year with WORSE players on the o-line [who were brought in by ireland].

no one could have won with this mess. we DO NOT HAVE THE TALENT people think we do. TANNEHILL is NOT a pro bowl qb, not yet.

IRELAND SHOULD BE FIRED on what he did with this past offseason alone. forget about our record, 4 game losing streak, blowing a one win and in playoff spot to two losing teams with backup, rookie qb's, blowing the biggest chance at talent in team history should do it alone!!!!!

a LEADER can only do so much and PHILBIN guided this team through the martin fiasco brilliantly. he just doesnt have the horses that the other teams who ARE playoff caliber have.

thats the job of the GM, not our coach. and our gm has FAILED!!!

we have changed EVERYTHING in 6 years, qb, o-line, rb, wr's, lb's, secondary. and we STILL are losers. the ONLY constant in it all??............. JEFF IRELAND!!

is it that hard folks? really?

Idk how many times I have to remind people what it is a general managers does... His job is to bring talent to the team and he did that. Bump an old thread from the offseason where everybody was claiming that we were already AFC champs. Why? Because on paper our roster was stacked. Look at that trade for Jordan, a complete steal. We had one of the best offseasons we have seen in years. Not ONE person was saying that Ellerbe, Wheeler or Clabo sucked when we signed them earlier this year. You know why? Because they were playing at a high level with their last teams. What happened? Why did half the players falter throughout the season? Why were the rookies AGAIN not prepared to contribute their first year? Coming into the year we had 3 PRO BOWL O-lineman with our weakest guy being Martin. You can't blame the GM for the **** that happened this year.

That's ALL on coaching. Sorry to burst the fireland people's little bubble, but he doesn't coach.

The o line, secondary, running game and run D that Ireland put together sucked... Then again, the coaching staff failed to capitalize on countless opportunities to make the necessary adjustments and calls that would have won us those 4 games you mentioned.
Long story short, they all suck, fire em all. I don't know what's taking so long.

Agreed. Can't help but think the talent was there and the coaching staff did a lousy job getting the most out of that talent.

I could bump old threads from fools on this site saying Henne and Sparano would be our saviors, some fool saying Ireland did a good job in April means jack ****ing squat to me.

Its not Ireland vs fools on finheaven, its Ireland vs the other 31 gms in the league, thats what some of you can't seem to understand

We have Mike FREAKING Wallace and you can't get him the ball??? Save the no talent crap for someone that plays madden. We were stacked and we should have been in the playoffs, period.
