dont forget that cheap run at the end when we were in prevent that gained them 6 yards on the play :-D maybe they were trying to PAD their stats

Denver didn't even try to run the ball.....they only ran the ball 12 times....Cutler threw it 46 times....
Shanahan put the game on Cutlers shoulders for some reason...probably because of how bad our secondary has been....

they quit trying cause they couldnt and they were down the entire game. when they had the ball on the goalline i said to my roomie s*** they are passing sprano should know. when they did. i said da**it they know they cant run the ball on us theyre not even trying we should know they are passing. and sorry to ted slim who mentioned they only ran it 12 times. i guess when you know youre up a creak without a paddle on something you give up on it. if you take out that prevent run they ran 11 times for 8 yards....... i would give up on it too if i was averaging .8 yards a carry and losing the entire time
or because we forced then to pass, ill take the latter.. we definately forced them to pass as we were ahead the entire game.. they werent running on us

They weren't down enough to abandon the running game until the end....running the football is Shanahan's bread and butter...they just don't have a RB at the moment...
I think it was by design to attack Miami's secondary and exploit the LB's in coverage....that's how I would play Miami if I had Cutler, Marshall, Royal, etc...
But the playaction wasn't fooling anybody (except Crowder....Hillis owned him) and Cutler telegraphed his throws because of his confidence in his arm. If Denver wasn't cut blocking, the secondary could immediately tell it was a pass...

im not sure what surprises me more than they only got 14 yards rushing or that they stopped our run like they did
well not to mention that the refs said the PLAYACTION was the broncos bread and butter and they couldnt run so the PA was out of question.

No, denver always has a running back. The fact that we shut down their running games proves we have a very good running defense.
