Y'all make me sick. Ever heard of beating a dead horse?

The horse isn't dead yet; we still have some Harrington supporters out there.

I guess I would assume that being a DOLPHINS supporter that we would all want to support each player on this team instead of bashing them every chance we get. Do I think Joey is the answer? no. Do I support him while he is the guy trying to guide my team to victory? Absolutely.
You are not a true fan.

I am a true fan, that's why I don't care to see JH in a Dolphins uniform again. If you're an opposing team and JH is playing for the Dolphins, that's a good thing......If you're a Dolphins fan (or player) and JH is playing in a uniform.....that's a bad thing.

Let's say we won this game (despite Joey's poor play) and won the follwing 2 games. Even if JH continued to play poorly; there would still be a lot of fans rooting for him and rooting for him to start next year. In the end, it's a good thing JH played as poorly as he did.......it means he's less likely to start next year. This also means we're more likely to spend a high pick on a QB.

Your theory only works if we buy into the fact that Saban thought Harrington was the future of the dolphins. Anyone willing to take that as truth?

Not really......

We don't know if Culpepper will ever play again and we already know Harrington sucks.

Looks like for the 2nd time today I will post the Joey was brought here as a backup! (shoulda copied and pasted) I bet you werent hollering for Sage to be traded after he layed an egg against Cleveland last year. We made a huge mistake and didnt secure Brees and now we're paying the price. I dont remember the Joey signing press conference and neither do you. But I can guarantee you Saban didnt stand up and say "Here is Joey Harrington, the savior of the Dolphins franchise." Gimme a break bashers. Joey is and has done everything we've expected this season. Nuff said.

That's true........I never expected anything out of him. It was foolish giving up more than a 7th round draft pick for him.....

and foolish to give a 2nd rounder for an IR spot. :D

You are not a true fan.

There's nothing like the high and mighty such as yourself who think they have the authority to anoint who is and isn't a true fan.

And the real reason you say such silly things is that you are frustrated that there might be a hint of truth as to what the poster above is saying and you would rather not confront it.

Supporting a player entails rooting for them to play well when they are on the field. What you are suggesting and describing is unconditional support, which is ridiculous and immature to ask of any fan.

Joey...played...bad today. And I too am sick of all the Harrington sheep who continually make excuses for every bad decision he makes. I feel like objectivity left this board years ago.

Atleast there was a time when Culpepper was one of the best QBs in the NFL; Harrington has always ranked at the bottom. Culpepper was worth the risk.
