We have the #16 pick in the 2006 NFL Draft..........The #16 pick in the past has brought us the likes of Eric kumerow and John Bosa, neither one accomplished anything in the NFL.

#16 David Woodley............He couldn't complete a pass in the 2nd half of Superbowl 17, a Superbowl our Dolphins led until the 4th quarter.

It was in Don Shula's 16th season (1985) as the Dolphins Head Coach that he led our beloved Dolphins to their 6th AFC Championship game against the Patriots in the Orange Bowl, a place where we rarely lost. The Dolphins were 5-0 all-time at that point in AFC Championship games, the Dolphins uncharacteristically turned the ball over 6 times and lost a game they really should have won............................................................................

EDIT: #16 Joe Montana defeated us in our last Superbowl trip.

The Dolphins haven't reached a Superbowl since!

You would do this to me... damn you... We DID win game 16 this year though, so HA

Edit: Good research though...

Trade up--trade down--do something

Bosa would have been a real good player had he not got injured. Must be that jinxed #16 slot :)

I agree waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much time on your hands. Gezz, can you tell our season is over. Hey when do they start the count down timer til next seasons first game???

We had a perfect December. When was the last time that that has happened? Looks like Nick could very well be the "reverse jynx - no double whammies" coach we needed. Maybe we'll even acyually win a playoff game this decade.

I would see how #16 picks in the past few seasons have done, but I have no time for such trite things.

I DO have time to write about it though. Hmm, weird.

speaking of busts...........not that this guy would have been a bust.

but does anyone remember the guy that was hurt in a car wreck on

his way to training camp.......oh, about 8 to 10 years ago.... i think.

for some reason i want to think he was a lineman.......

just wondering...... thanks!

Bull****. People said the same thing about Penn State runningbacks until Larry Johnson. It's a number. I'm sure we'll do just fine w/ it.

I'm really not superstitous, I just thought it was interesting.

i agree, beats the piss out of the silly QB threads.

What are the chances we stand pat at #16? Maybe Saban trades down for more picks...
