...will be telecast on NFL network, Monday May 1st at 8:00 PM. FYI.

The fish lost to the Chargers 41-38 in OT. :fire:

I cannot watch it again. :boohoo: Uwe von Schamann lost this game several times for us. I cried. :(

Dolphins kicker Uwe von Schamann had a chance to win the game on the last play of regulation, but his field goal attempt was blocked.

In overtime, the Chargers took the opening kickoff and advanced to the Miami 8-yard line, but Benirschke missed a 27-yard field goal attempt. Then after both teams exchanged punts twice, the Dolphins reached the San Diego 17-yard line, only to see von Schamann's 34-yard attempt get blocked. The Chargers then drive to the Miami 10-yard line, where Benirschke eventually kicks the winning field goal.

After that game ended I remember walking (fast) around my block more than once. Boy I was ticked. :fire: :fire: :tantrum: :tantrum:

This is just an informational thread- a heads-up. I

Its the EPIC in Miami. From 1980 to 84 we played the Chargers 4 times, 3 of those games went into OT.

This is just an information thread. I am just posting the day and time of the telecast for those that would want to view it. I know how you feel Anthony D.

Dam, do I remember that game, I do not think there was a game where my emotion were at such a roller coaster ride.....We are getting Killed (This game is lost).....OMG we came back by half time (We can win this)...We have the lead (we are going to win this).....they got the lead (We might lose)......We are tied, but we have a chance at a winning FG (An easy FG, WE ARE GOING TO WIN THIS)...they have a chip shot FG (THIS GAME IS OVER, WE LOST)....Wow!! Another shot at an easy FG, no way do we screw this up again (YEA, BABY!!!)...Crap, how could we have lost this game?

On top of that, I had to deal with Friends calling me through the whole game, and other friends who were at my house with me continue to rub it in (Well, those friends that were not Dolphin fans, the ones that were just continued on the emotional roller coaster with me). I am a glutton for punishment, I will probably watch

:shakeno: Why would I want to see THAT game?

The game was a classic even though we lost...You have to see the hook & lateral play that shula pulled off just before half time...that play alone makes it worth a peek.:cooldude:

Didn't Andre Franklin fumble late in the 4th qauter that would have put us up by 10 ...... best game i ever saw even though we lost

I have the complete broadcast on DVD and I can't get enough of the hook & ladder play. WHAT A PLAY!!!!!!!! Man, that crowd was loud. But yeah, Andra Franklin should be in there with Sammy Smith.
Besides, had we won, we would have gone up to Cincinnati to play in wind chill factor -20 degree weather. Heck, the Chargers were so spent from our game that they had no gas for the champ. game in Cinci. Could have been the same for us, who knows. But it sure would've been nice to find out. DAMN YOU ANDRA!!!
