and we call two fade patterns into the sun and the defender is clearly playing against the fade route. Could we have at least run the sticken ball at least one time. Sometimes I just don't get their play calling. On a GREAT NOTE, you fans that were at the game today were real loud. I really could hear you guys today, great job with that!

Yeah, we got down there throwing it. Welker made a great play, and so did Booker. Why not start it off with a run off the guard with Ronnie? That is the second week in a row they got that close and threw the ball. This time they did it 4 straight times. Horrible.

We had Chambers twice and Booker (I believe) one-on-one with a 2nd string DB during that set of downs. The odds were in our favor.

However, I agree that we should have tried to run the ball more in the 2nd half. Too much for Gus to carry us.

the first one was a good call, but the throw was short..the second would have worked but was way too long..third down was just a horrible call

knock knock...statistics show the odds aren't in our favor. It's been shown that playcall is garbage.

This is the thread that matters...

1st and goal with over a minute remaining and two timeouts...

and not one attempt with Ronnie Brown carrying the ball...what if we had scored...heck Brady would have had another shot.

Ronnie could have carried the ball in, he usually carries 4 or 5 guys on his back most plays anyway.

Those fade passes are thrown short and caught alot of times in this league.. its like a "jump ball" with the advantage to the receiver.. IMO it could've been caught

Brown could have gotten 6 yards on three plays.

We have the best 4 play O cordinators on this board. They always know what to call after the fact.

I agree with everything said. I watched the final seconds of the game(i live in PA so it switched over to the game in the final seconds) and saw Miami get in the redzone and saw 1st and goal from the six. I thought to myself why not run the ball. We tried one fade route into the sun and then another. I couldn't understand why. I prayed for a win i was so excited hoping we would score. And yet another week in a row i'm left disappointed. Either way great game dolphins and i hope we can bounce back next week against the Browns.

should have run the ball on 2nd down. not to upset over that series because it should have never got to that point. also ferrote could have easily put us up 7-0 early with a touch pass to welker but threw it hard and it was tipped past him. mare misses and the rest is history. mcmichael fumble killed us 2
