This will be my first post on this board after lurking here for about 2 years. I've enjoyed everyones mock drafts this offseason as it has helped pass time. I know that all the mock drafts have become redundant at this point but you have to admit there fun. Anyway, here goes...

1. San Francisco - Alex Smith QB Utah

2. Miami - Braylon Edwards WR Michigan

3. Cleveland - Aaron Rodgers QB California

4. Chicago - Cedric Benson RB Texas

5. Tampa Bay - Cadillac Williams RB Auburn

6. Tennessee - Mike Williams WR USC

7. Minnesota - Troy Williamson WR South Carolina

8. Arizona - Ronnie Brown RB Auburn

9. Washington - Antrell Rolle DB Miami

10. Detroit - Derrick Johnson LB Texas

Here is my reasoning behind this.. I think Alex Smith has more long term value and upside for the Niners than local kid Aaron Rodgers and I think they absolutely have to start at QB. Miami if unable to trade down will take BPA and I think that Edwards has to be that guy. There are to many quality backs available later for us to go in that direction this early. Cleveland is tough however I think they too need a QB and Rodgers at this point is good value to them. Benson to Chicago is obvious to me here although I'm sure they have to give Ronnie Brown a long look.Tennessee has Mike Williams slip to them here and although WR isnt their biggest need he is ability is to tempting here to pass up. Minny snags Troy Williamson here and is happy to do so if they cant trade up for Edwards. Washington has Rolle fall to them here. After losing Champ they could plug in Rolle now to help stop the bleeding in their secondary. Finally Detroit would love DJ to fall into their laps at 10. At this point his value here is outstanding.

Alright guys -- fire away!!

Thats a pretty safe mock, if there are no trades then I think your pretty accurate.

I also think we are taking Braylon Edwards...just my feeling.

I'd say it's a safe bet to say we'll take Edwards at #2. I'd rather take him than a QB. I think Feeley is our future.

I think #10 is exactly where DJ will go. Just because he has seperated him self from the other linebackers doesnt mean hes a stud. There are still question marks with him, especially whether or not he can take on blockers.

Yeah DJ could go To Cleveland but I dont think he goes anywhere between them and Det. I just dont see Rodgers falling out of the top 10.
