As much as I want to give Feeley a shot, I don't think he is the answer either. Now, say we get a top 5 pick(likely) can we draft a Franchise QB or does spending a 2nd on Feeley negate any chance at that?

nah.. it will be an entirely new FO so the 2nd for Feeley will have no bearing on their decision.. if there is a Franchise QB available at their pick Im sure the new administration would start with that, and build from there.. Probably pick up Edge in FA too..

Thats out the window....Iwish, but I dont think so. Cedric Benson at 1, and to still have our 2nd rounder next year would of been nice, to draft a 22 yr old QB with the same amount of "potential" as AJ.

Feeley isn't the answer.

Top QB picks usually flop. Same for running backs. Get a offensive lineman. Hell, get five.

My problem with drafting a QB is this...If we draft a Qb that would mean 1 learning yr wether its on or off the field, ...If its on the field, then we are going to suck once again (making it 2 yrs in a row), if its off the field that means we're looking at a 2 yr plan (like Carson Palmers situation) which would probably mean a 3yr plan.....either way, our defense isnt getting any younger.

Thing that sucks is this past draft was the one to get a QB. There aren't any GREAT ones in this draft.

God, we even get cursed on the wrong year.

Yeah, but if Feeley doesn't get it together, what FA Qb would you go after next year. Even if it takes 1 year to learn, a QB taken in the draft is better then trying someone every year that only has "potential".

What I want to know is why we didn't draft someone about 3 years before Marino retired so that he could learn behind the best. Too frigging late now!

Kerry Collins looked good tonight. Oh wait, the FO passed on him.

i saw draft one in the third, maybe a david greene, dan orlovsky or charlie frye, they might be available in the 3rd.

Heck, Rivers didn't even show up on many draft boards until late in the season. There is still a chance that the 2005 QB class could be good.

Aj gets to the end of the year, but say he is a flop, the 1st rd pick has to be a QB or a RB, the best Qb in College is Chris Leak but he can't come out till next season, two guys that are absolute studs are Brad Smith and Vince Young, Matt Leinhart or Kyle Orton will probably be the best two rated qbs but if Young comes out and the Phins pass on him i'll give up on the FO, this guy is 6'5 225 and can fly, Steve McNair is also his mentor. I think Phin fans are sold on the fact that Edge is coming to Miami, if he does the situation changes but look at what the Giants did, I hate Coughlin as a head coach but they brought in a veteran who by the way hasn't turned the ball over and has looked very impressive just tutor Eli while still being competitive, very similar to Cincy last season, I say we follow that blueprint. Cedric Benson is a beast but he's got some character issues and was arrested before the season, Ronnie Brown might be available in the 3rd rd, losing that 2nd rd pick really hurts right about now....Most fans are gonna want oline help, but I think this team biggest needs are qb and rb.
