With alot of the Offense/Defense still maturing and learning the system do you see the playing time for starters on thursday increasing so they get more game type situations and reps before hitting Denver.. or decreasing at the cost of that to ensure no injuries?

aside from ronnie brown i see the starting O and D in for one qtr. if that much

Generally the starters stay in for about 2 series in the last preseason game. There's not much point playing your starters longer than your opponent plays his, and everyone pretty much plays to not get injured in the last preseason game. That is, everyone except the bottom of the roster who are still trying to win jobs. I think Schulters in particular will go all out in an attempt to supplant Yeremiah Bell, who looks very supplantable after the Bucs game.

Mike Vick will probably march out onto the field, hand the ball off to TJ Duckett, and then march right back off the field, lol.

no chance... if anything its going to be ricky stayin in for more than half a game..... hes got a long rest until next game

I think that Saban should have the starting O out there for 2 quarters, with Feeley and Frerrote each getting 1 quarter to show their stuff... the D can stay out there for just a quarter, because overall our 1st team D is pretty solid and we should be in injury prevention mode with them... Ronnie needs 12 carries at the minimum. Plus our last preseason game is thursday, with week 1 being more than a week away...

i guess its going to be interesting to see which QB they are trying to protect from injury.. lol

The starters will prob play about a couple if series. Some guys might even stay in there alittle bit longer then expected.

i read in the paper this morning that due to his long holdout he will see a significant amount of playing time to get him ready for the opener

i really hope saban gambles with it and gives him a good 15 carries...so we can start to see what this guy can really do and he will be prepared for a tough denver D
