I would love this scenario, of course 3-1 would be nice also. Right now I expected us to be 0-2 so I am happy with 1-1. I get pumped up when I think about this team being 2-2 and RICKY coming back, its going to open up the offense so much. Sure we lost, but honestly, we were not supposed to win this game. Get behind "OUR" team, and remember we still have 14 to go. The last thing this team needs right now is negativity from the media and they definitly dont need negativity from the fans!!!

GO DOLPHINS

Very well put, couldnt have said it better myself. Dunno who you mean we are going to beat, the Panthers or the Bills. We got Carolina (very tough) at home so I dunno if that even outs or the Bills (okay team) at their home so not sure. I think we can win them both selfishly ofcourse. :)

Go dolphins!

I've said that before the season even started. Let's just be 2-2 after four games and then Ricky comes back. Look, I'm not saying RW will be the cure all, but just his presence on the field will make our offense better.

GO DOLPHINS

exactly

I'd like to start 2-1 and go from there. One game at a time..

I'd take .500 after four games, though 3-1 would be awesome! :D

I fully expected that Saban would need this season to tweak the offense and defense and get players used to the system. That means mistakes and breakdowns early in the season --but I expect the Dolphins to gel as a whole team toward the end of the year and be playing good football.

A .500 or better start for the first quarter of the season means they'll have a real shot at the playoffs.

The jury is still out on Brown, IMHO, but getting Ricky back should be a huge boost and help this team have a winning record this year.

If we are 2-2 after the first 4 games I will be very happy. Frankly, I thought we'd lose all four till Ricky got back.

How bout constructive critisism? Is that acceptable? I support my team and I think I am pretty good about supporting players and such, but I reserve teh right to critisize where it is due. if someone is stinking up the joint when they are suppose to be one of our better players, I think it is warranted. chris chambers anyone?

I would be thrilled to be 2-2 after 4 games. After last year being at .500 1/4 into the season would be awesome. I also support the team and the players but believe they should be accountable to constructive critisism. I think that is what Saban would like as well. No need to bash, but a highly paid professional should be able to play up to a certain standard. I don't feel Chris Chambers has reached his potential and therefore justly deserves to be critiqued. I hope Saban / Linehan can find the right buttons to push because I think he could be a probowl / elite level receiver.:D

I agree.

2-2 with Ricky coming back is not bad, considering all other teams in the AFC East have 2 losses. We just need to win the divisional games at home against NY and Buffalo.

IF, and that's a big IF, we can cut down on the mistakes (PENALTIES and TURNOVERS), then we could actually be serious contenders to win the AFC East.

The team is still learning new systems on both sides of the ball. I am very hopeful that we will continue to only get better, NOT worse. In my opinion, we havn't been beatin' yet, we simply beat ourselves. Both losses we started out VERY poor, played very poor for most of the game, and yet still had a legit shot at winning both games.

More often than not, it's not the team that starts out like wild fire, but the team that gradually improves that makes the most noise in the playoffs. Maybe we can be that team?

12 games left. not 14.

wooooooooooooooooooooooo.

edit: oh this post was after 2 games. sorry. my mistake.

The team is displaying Jekyll and Hyde personalities right now, and it's pretty maddening to watch. I try to remind myself that this year is just the beginning of something big.

A 2-2 record is nice. An 0-2 record in the division is not so nice. Still, the team has shown brief flashes of what they can be, and if the team can become more consistent with those flashes, we'll look back on these times the way a parent at graduation looks at baby photos.
