No criticism here, just need an opinion because, I read many topic on pat white, but I really don't know about his future position.

Opinions and GO DOLPHINS GO !

I hope to god that the FO isn't really gonna try to stick Pat White at quarterback. The last thing we want to do is alianate Chad Henne and have a Jay cutler situation. I think white will be exactly like Brad Smith for the Jets except he'll be a big part of the wildcat. And maybe he'll catch some passes as a wideout.

The FO is starting him at QB. I think the Wildcat role could be described as a combo QB/RB role. The big question all Dolfans want to know is will it work or not? No one really knows. If the Wildcat role doesn't pan out WR (like Kordell Stewart and Randle El) might be his ticket to stay employed at Miami.

What exactly has Henne proven in his career to warrant a "Jay Cutler" situation? Nothing as far as I'm concerned.

I do believe he has all the tools to be a NFL QB and as I said before he brings more to the table then Chad Henne (I have nothing against Henne) He will probably have to buy his time running the wildcat until Chad P. shows that he can't do it anymore.

I'd say 2-3 years he will have no position because he will already be out of the NFL. 6'0" 190 lbs certainly isn't the size I would want my team's future QB to be.

although I tend to agree he will be looking for work, I think the best he can hope for is a backup qb role on some team.

HAHAHAHAHA thanks for starting my saturday morning off with a good laugh!!! I would love to see Henne pull a Cutler! I could see it now, I know I haven't played a down in the regular season, but how they are treating me is ridiculous. I know the other guy is coming in and contributing on offense, but I am the chosen one! Seriously all you have to do is go back and watch my games against Ohio State and you will realize I deserver this!

You guys really amaze me with this size argument, or should I say lack of argument. He is the same size as Drew Brees with a much more muscular Athletic Frame. He can easily bulk up to play at 210-215, this kid stands a much better chance to stay healthy with his quiick feet and illusiveness then most Quarterbacks do.

in 2-3 years the wildcat will be gone and he will either be third string qb by then or a wideout. jmo

Exactly. Drew Brees is listed at 6'0" 209 pounds. Big difference? Let me just go on record saying that I like Henne, but nobody knows if he's the QB of the furure or not, it's all speculation.. After drafting White, it is about time people stop labeling him as the "QB of the future", because noone knows if he is or not. So anyone saying White isn't the future, or Henne is the future, you don't know that, your only speculating.

IMO, he is too small with not enough arm strength to be a starter, but on the other hand the kid just makes plays, very smart and instinctive, so as a # 2 QB, WR he could be an awesome players that can also be worked into the offense to use his great athletic abilities.

I think he will a QB. (I am not going to speculate on him starting though...) From what I have seen of him this year, he is a legitame QB.
