Okay Fellas

Everybody is getting excited of this new quarterback that we are potentially looking at.

But there are distinct issues with both.

One could be a soft brees.
One could be a hot pepper.

We all saw what happened to Chad Pennington who didn't have a strong arm to begin with. Be honest, Brees didn't have the strongest arm to begin with.

Daunte has an infinitely stronger arm, but he made some horrible decisions last year that materialized in some 4+ interception games and some charges on an indictment, if I'm not mistaken.

So, I agree that we need a good quarterback. I'm also willing to pay dolla dolla bills to one, but I'm hesitant to pay a man who could be underthrowing our new prowbowler all year long.

The other guy has legal trouble from losing his logic with some slutty girls in Minesotta. IN MINNESOTA!!!!! You want to bring him to Miami?!?!?! He also messed his knee up badly. How is he as a pocket passer?

So, those are the bads and I'm worried. I definitely don't want to give 10 million a year to a questionable shoulder or a 2nd rounder for a nympho who can't control himself in an untempting environment.

But, Pepp does still, I'm sure, have that rocket on his shoulder.
Brees injured himself jumping headfirst after a loose fumble on the 1 yardline and I love that.

Just wanted to give y'all my 2 cents.

As I saw yesterday in a great post by another Finheaven member....Drew Brees was 4th in the LEAGUE last year in completions over 35 yds! 4th! Would everybody get off of this guys arm strength! He is a winner and would be a perfect fit for this club.

Look at Pep's career stats and determine and you'll see he's been sucessful as a pocket passer.

I get it. I actually agree with you. But what would you rather the Dolphins do? Not pursue these guys? I don't believe the Dolphins management is going to overspend for these guys. They'll give them what they're worth, and if NO wants to go crazy and overpay for D.Brees, then that'll be what will drown(ha ha) the NO Saints into the mediocrity that that club has come to be known for. I really hope the Drew Brees see's what SoFla has to offer and comes to us, even if the Saints offer more money. This club is just so close to being really special, he has to see that. What do they have NO? Umm... anyone? Right. Anyway, one can only hope.

PS... are guys as cracked out on Finheaven right now as I am as FA started. I have to check back here every 15 minutes just to see if we've signed anyone. I'm addicted.
