Would you take #24 and #28 from the Patriots for our #9? Myself I would jump on that, you would end up paying those two picks the same as the one pick at 9. Plus I would really like to have the chance to get two starters vs. one this year. Your thoughts, I have not looked up the "point" value of the trade.

No thanks, I would like to avoid helping the patriots. And we could certainly get 3 starters from our 4 day one picks this year, maybe all 4 if they came along quick enough.

In a HEARTBEAT! Unless Chad Johnson miraculously falls to #9 I don't really see how this helps the Pats, but it makes all the sense in the world for us.

DREAM SCENARIO.....

Move our 9 for Pats 24 & 28.

Get a 6th for Mare and a 5th for Hill.

Trade our 24, 28th, & a 4th to get into top 5 and pick Thomas or Johnson with that pick.

It'll never happen, but it's fun to make up scenarios.

Well the Pats could draft Landry to replace Harrison (ouch) or Okoye/Branch on the DLine (ouch) etc etc.

Wont happen anyway, teams dont trade within the division like that for draft picks.

We can get to either 4 or 6 (in theory) right now without that crazy trade. Our 1st and 2nd (#40) equal 1,850 on the value chart, TBs 4th overall is only 1,800. Our 1st and Pats 2nd (#60) is 1,650 on the value chart, Redskins' 6th is only 1,600. I'd LOVE for Quinn to slip past Detroit and Cleveland and then we make the trade with the Redskins and get Quinn at #6 (I don't think TB wants him at 4, and Arizona definately doesn't at 5) and still have our early 2nd round pick there. That's MY personal favorite/dream scenerio
