2 Game Changing Plays

In my opinion, there were 2 plays that could have changed the momentum of the game and possibly provide a different outcome.

1. If Will Allen sacks Cassell when he slipped away, we end the Patriots drive right there and proceed to get the ball back.

2. The Pennington interception. That was the momentum killer and all seemed lost after that. It seemed everything began to go downhill from there and everyone was getting injured left and right.
 
That Allen play was huge. If he had managed to bring him down we most likely would have stopped them which we couldn't do in the second half.
 
penalties killed us.
single coverage on Moss killed us.
our defense killed us.

did the Pats even punt the ball once?
 
We had that penalty that took us out of field goal range. A couple of plays earlier, we had a first down inside the 30 if I'm not mistaken. It was all downhill after not getting points on that drive. We punted and they had a 10 point lead 4 plays later. That penalty killed us. We needed at least 3 out of that drive. That changes the way the rest of the game is called.
 
THis i a wrong way to look at a game. as 2 plays can be the interception to moss and fumble. if not for that then what happens.

This was the turning point of the game IMO. I didn't see the game but I was following along on nfl.com. Once I saw we got a penalty in that situation and took us out of FG range then I think CP was sacked or something that was a big 180 in momentum. Then they go and score so not getting any points in that situation hurt us badly making it a 2 score game in which it was going back and forth all day.
