1) We cut down on penalties considerably - so looks like we were able to fix this nagging problem...

2) Ronnie Brown looked awesome - he looks like he was worth that #2 pick and more. Now give him the damn ball more than 8 or 9 times in the game!!! sheesh, this game and last we barely ran the ball at all! That can easily be fixed!

Those and Welker are our only postives of lastnights game. Also, did you know that we didn't have a penalty in the 1st quarter?...Looks like we are improving that part atleast.

Sage almost equalled Frerotte passing totals for the game in one play. I'm not sure if that's a positive or a negative.

I guess the running got to the players.

Welker is looking like a steal. Ricky needs the ball more to be successful. i don't know how anyone can expect good things from him with 6 carries.. and after watching the game 3 times.... He's usually gang tackled behind the line of scrimmage. Which makes believe Linehan is having issues utilizing them effectively

1) we're one game closer to the end of the season

2) Dave Wannstedt is still gone, although I'm getting worried by the way Saban is starting to run his hands through his hair. If he starts growing a mustache, I'm really gonna freak.

screw ricky, i was happy he was back too, but brown can really be a force starting now (i thought it was going to take a few year), he is our future, williams had his shot........you know what happened

Ronnie needs the ball every chance they get. Ricky is the past and he did it to himself. This isn't college, we're not Auburn so to hell with the "R & R" BS and focus on our future who is Ronnie Brown. Sammy Morris proved effective in our 2 wins as a back to spell Ronnie so unless he gets injured (God forbid) then give Ricky a chance to win the starting job because Morris is capable.

Getting 6 carries is not "a shot"... getting gang tackled in the backfield is not "a shot.
NOBODY expected Ricky to run for 200 yds.. so I hope you sure didn't... ButI'll tell you one thing,, I surely didn't expect 14 carries total per game.

And that my friend is pathetic example of how badly our O-line continues

good post, obviously you can agree with me that we need to run the ball 30 times a game, at least, brown needs at least 20 and williams needs at least 10, but brown deserves the ball more.
