2 starting RBs, both around 230 lbs with 4.4 speed..

Over 450 lbs. of 4.4 speed in the backfeild at the same time...wow! I like as a nickname "crash and speed"

I prefer Weed and Speed.

I think Nublar came up with that one... but I'm not 100% sure on that one. Regardless... it wasn't me. :D

Is Randy Mc going to benifit from them ?

Yup.....McMichael will be 1-on-1 on most patterns. He will matchup favorably against most.

Plus if you send him down the seem deep (ie buffalo) he will out run most LB, and out size most S. Once he catches he will go the distance since the over the top help will not be there a high percentage of the time.

Has the NFL ever seen such a devastating combination?

Christian Okoye 250 lbs and Barry Word 240 lbs. Both played for the Chiefs.
I was at Dolphin stadium when Marino brought the team back in a playoff game against them. 1989 I think it was.

They come the closest in size...but they both didnt have the speed.

I just thought up a new nickname for the duo:

Weed & Feed! j/k

I could see an annoucer calling it the "WEED WHACKER backfield" when Ricky busts a long run, then Ronnie bangs into the End Zone, etc....

They were a devastating backfield, no doubt.

But Barry Word certainly didn't have 4.4 speed.

And I think Christian Okoye ran a 4.5. Still amazingly fast for a man his size, but I don't think he ever had 4.4 speed.
